Sun Hills Riding Centre
My partner and I had an incredible experience with Sherry and Dave. We appreciated Sherry introducing the horses and speaking a little bit about their history. It was our first time riding and they made us feel really comfortable. The trail was spectacular- filled with gorgeous views, wildlife and native plants. We walked away totally impressed and promised ourselves that we will always return if we’re in the area!

One of the best family memories we've made! Didn't feel rushed, had great conversations with the owners, learned about each horse. Got to give each horse a treat after the ride. We all loved it so much and already want to go back.

Dave and Sherry were just wonderful. We haven’t gone horseback riding before but they made myself and my father (63 years old) so comfortable. Views were stunning, surrounded by wildlife, and the horses were extremely friendly and well trained. I felt safe and welcome the whole time. We fell in love with the horses and the effort gone into their rescuing. We will return when we’re back in the area. A must do at Osoyoos!!

Wonderful experience riding a horse for the first time! I was nervous at first but felt super safe with Sherry and Dave. They don’t miss a beat. Super special to be able to interact with and support rescue horses.

Sun Hills Riding Centre
My friends and I had an amazing time with Sherry and Dave. The whole experience was so warm and friendly and we weren’t rushed at all - it was nice to take the time to meet all the horses (and two cute dogs) and you can tell that they really care for their animals. We went for the 6pm high trail ride and the views were beautiful. Highly recommend Sun Hills and would definitely return!

Sherry and Dave were such delightful hosts! This was such a wonderful way to see a different side of Osoyoos. We did the longer evening ride which I really recommend. It was nice to go when the sun was going down and it was a bit cooler. The horses were so lovely and had such great spirit (my horse was Reno who was such a character). Highly recommend!

Sherry and Dave gave us a wonderful experience of horse trail riding. They were patient, thorough in explaining and fun to be with. Their horses took care of us the whole trail ride. They gave us a feeling that they could be trusted and know what they are doing. We will come back with our sons. Thank you Sherry and Dave!

By far the best trail ride I’ve ever experienced. Couple running it are lovely people and really show their care and love for the horses. I can’t recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back again!

Highly recommend riding with Sherry and Dave! We did the High Trail in the evening and got to see the beautiful Osoyoos valley during golden hour. Sherry and Dave were excellent guides and great company. The horses were well trained and well cared for, and while the ride was suitable for beginners, the horses have plenty of spark and personality and will keep things interesting for an intermediate rider too! If you are in Osoyoos and looking to spend some time in the saddle, give these folks a call.

A husband and wife team named Dave and sherry run this place. He’s Irish and has the gift of gab and they’re great people to go out on a trip with. Attached is a picture of the American Canadian border to 3 foot fence with no Bobwire very different than the Mexican border. It’s maintained with high tech cameras and things like that on the mountain tops, nearby and drones. But is interesting to see the difference. Took the 90 minute trail and you go pass a tiny gold mine and visit the US border. The horses are in great shape.
