Friendly staff, awesome experience. Do not be intimidated by the thought of driving a house boat. Although it looks daunting, driving one is quite easy and tying up for the night becomes a breeze! Lots of beaches and sights to explore. And if you forgot to pack something you can always go to the floating store for food, gas and other personal items. Fantastic landing spots north end of Seymour Arm! Nice sand and hiking right off your boat! If you fish, just drop a line off your boat with just a piece of cheese or hot dog wiener - it was just that easy for lake trout!

Truely wonderful people, great service.We rented the mystery shop, it was easy to use. Family friendly Beach's and places to go. Great way to spend a vacation.

Bluewater House Boats
Our houseboat was impressive. However, it could use some maintenance. The fans in the bedrooms did not work, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The plug-in in one room did not work at all, so we were unable to charge phones.The rooms are tight, especially the ones below, but for the 3 days, it works. It took a while before we could leave the Marina due to trains (the bridge needs to be opened). Once we were on the Shuswap, life was great. It is so scenic and relaxing.

We had a great time on Shuswap, but the boat wasn't without issues. The generator often struggled to turn on and appliances worked intermittently, but worst of all was the lack of air conditioning. In the beginning we were told it was broken, but after returning they said it was just disconnected because people didn't use it right. With temps above 35c/95f, the boat wasn't able to cool down leading to sleepless nights. For the rate they charge for peak season, this isn't acceptable. Nice lake though :)

Amazing vacation! Karen was amazing and so helpful. This was our first time house Boating with our kids, (10, 13) and it will be a tradition now! We had so much fun!

Bluewater House Boats
This was our second time/ summer, renting with Bluewater. Not only are they super affordable, Karen, Eric and company go above and beyond to make sure you have the absolute best time possible. They provide all info on operation, beaching protocol, safety, and even the best places stay for a few nights! Their boats are spotless, and full of everything you need aside from food/ alcohol.10/10 would recommend.
