Our Mom pre-arranged her funeral many years ago. With her passing last week, I contacted PFH tomake final arrangements. From the first contact, our loss was acknowledged, same day meeting was arranged, and funeral visitation occurred 2 days later. The funeral director prepared Mom (at age 96) with fineness for visitation; she looked amazing!Our every need was met, including our wishes for display of our treasures from Mom, playing step-dance and fiddle music from a disc we prepared and arranging the back of the room in theatre seating style for people to enjoy the 104 picture presentation we had prepared with the use of their big screen set-up.All the staff were warm & supportive. When a loved one passes, this is the funeral home to go to.

Losing a loved one is hard. Losing a loved one during a pandemic, when you can't grieve with friends and family, is heartbreaking. If you find yourself in this position, I highly recommend using the Penetanguishene Funeral Home for their services. Although we weren't able to grieve in person, the staff made sure our family was able to say goodbye with a beautiful virtual viewing. The staff has always gone above and beyond, but this time, they outdid themselves! Thank you for allowing us to say goodbye.

Though I was not part of the actual planning which took place when my grandfather became palliative last August I heard that they treated my very thrifty grandfather with much respect and presented him with many options that met the budget he had set. Unbeknownst to us Covid would take both my grandparents in the span of 9 days and the funeral home was so helpful in making sure that both their wishes were met and that the family was supported during this difficult situation. I was honored to sing at their double funeral and was very pleased when Dave came up to make sure that myself and the pianist were well taken care of. He was very respectful when talking to us, this much be such a hard thing to do knowing that emotions are so high for families. Thankfully we were informed that the funeral was recorded and uploaded so it was able to watch it later as I was unable to pay attention during the event. I was happy I got closure despite the oddity of the covid funeral. We were also very happy that our family who were unable to attend were able to watch during and afterwards using zoom. The funeral home is doing a good job adapting to the times. Thank you for your kindness during our difficult time.

With the passing of our Mother.The whole team at Salon Funeraire Penetanguishene were wonderful. Their compassion and professionalism at our time of need was a so much appreciated by our family. We could not have expected any greater service. We strongly recommend them.

For a funeral home it was well serviced and maintained. Staff was friendly and courteous.
