The first time I came I loved the food, second time not so much.I don’t usually leave reviews, but this time I must.I believe my pregnant wife, my 1 year old and I have food poisoning.Luckily we only ate half of it and put the rest where it belongs.When I was eating the Mac and wings, I had a bite of something that just tasted off. ( I should have known)Now we are all home sick.It’s extremely overpriced as well I payed $80 for two meals.I DO NOT recommend.The corn bread was good though - try it with caution.

They make the best Mac and Cheese I ever had, Very creamy and flavour full. The cornbread is crunchy delicious with honey flavour. The brisket is soft with a side of sweet potato. The price is really reasonable. Highly recommend.

Definitely the highlight of my visit here to Canada! Had to wait in a long line to order and it was well worth it!! Staff was jovial and friendly, portions were healthy and food was delicious. Could not have possibly enjoyed my experience more.

Their shrimp was really good and the Mac n cheese was okay. The staff were very nice and friendly. It was pretty busy so we had to wait quite a while for food but it was still a good experience overall. They had Dine in available and their tables are pretty spacious. I would probably come back and try their other selections and the beverages

100% halalTheir cornbread is out if this world, one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Their candied yams are soooo addicting!!amazing southern classics. Huge portions, great service!I tried their Barbecue Bacon Burger with cornbread and coleslaw, Chicken Tenders with smoked, baked Mac and cheese, Chicken Wings with Loaded Mac,Mango Punch and Strawberry punch

Visited this past Saturday and had an incredible experience. Staff and ambience was super welcoming and accommodating. Ordered the sweet-jerk wings with loaded Mac. Absolutely. Delicious. This meal was enough to leave two people stuffed and so so satisfied. The wings were sweet, crispy, and just delightful. The Mac was probably the best Mac I've had in my life. Creamy and flavourful!! Thank you so much for hosting my friend and I, will certainly be returning.

It was my first time here and I had a great experience. The fresh guava juice was so refreshing and the food was well seasoned and tasty. I will definitely return when I am in the area.

The service my friends and I received today was amazing! The members of the team were welcoming, the food was fresh, and very tasty. I had the combo meal with sweet jerk wings and Cajun shrimp. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Love this place. The customer service was great from the girl with the faux locs and glasses. She was so friendly and explained everything not only to me on the phone BUT again when I went into the restaurant. Got my food pretty quickly. I don’t really expect a place like this to give me my food in 10 mins cause it’s not fast food so to me the little wait was fine. If you want your food in less than 8 mins go to McDonalds :) Now on to the food.THE CORNBREAD HERE IS EVERYTHING! I had been craving it again for MONTHS and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I got the shrimp, wings and loaded Mac combo. Pretty pricey BUT to me it was worth it. Again, this is not fast food and inflation has gone up quite a bit in general (It seems some people have forgotten this). Prices having to be raised are not on the restaurant. It’s just very unfortunate for everyone. But yeah. Amazing service and food. Will definitely be back! (No pictures of the cornbread because I gobbled them up. Sorry LMAO)

If you're looking for some delicious soul food that hits all the right spots, Hot Honey Soul Food should definitely be at the top of your list. I recently had the pleasure of trying their chicken and corn bread, and I have to say, it was one of the best meals I've had in a while.The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and juicy, flavorful meat inside. The real standout for me, though, was the corn bread. It was absolutely fire! Moist, perfectly sweet, and with just the right amount of cornmeal texture, it was the perfect accompaniment to the chicken.Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a full meal, Hot Honey Soul Food is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!
