Everafter Scrapbooking

Recently I got back into card making and scrapbooking and decided to see what Everafter had to offer. I was looking around the store and picked a bottle of Stickles. The employee of the store yelled across the store “did you just put that your pocket?” in front of another customer. I of course didn’t, but was wearing a hoodie with my keys/wallet in the front pocket. Although embarrassed, I continued to look around. I waited until the other customer left and made my purchase of three items. I offered her to look in my pockets and suggested next time that she quietly came over to me to make such an accusation. She told me I gave off many signs of a shop lifter, such as not saying hi when I talked in (I actually did say hi but thought the customer was the employee and said hi to her instead by accident), that I straighten one of the stickles bottles when I picked the colour and that I had never been a customer there before. I have never been so embarrassed in my life.After I posted this same review on FB she shamed me for my baggy clothing. Said I parked too far away, and that I can at closing even though she hasn’t updated her hours on her website which I had explained to her.

I had broken my Big Shot by getting paper stuck, as well as the platforms, plates and a die cut. I was able to take the Big Shot apart, but there was no way I could possibly release the paper. I had made a real mess.Amanda, the owner of Everafter came to my rescue. She very patiently got the paper unstuck and salvaged my die cut. The Big Shot, unfortunately could not be resurrected but that was OK.I have always found Amanda to be extremely helpful. She is very knowledgeable, very welcoming, and does her best to answer questions and provide guidance, regardless of whether she makes a sale or not. She loves her craft and that is very evident. Her customer service is superb and she goes the extra mile. We are very lucky to have Amanda and her store in our own town.

Poor customer service. The owner will openly suggest you’re not good enough of a crafter for some products and becomes argumentative.

Super excited to have found this place! The lady working there was super friendly, helpful, and not pushy at all. I had a lot of fun shopping here and will come again!

This colourful and fun store is bound to excite your creativity. There are amazing examples throughout that show some of the beautiful things you can do with paper, etc. The owner is friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Worth a visit if you are in Kelowna or the general area.

Always so helpful and kind, Amanda always has a big smile when you enter her store to greet you. She takes the time to listen and answer your questions. Beautiful store with so much product.

The lady was so rude with me. I was just taking my time to see the what to buy and she asked me not to damage things from no where and told me she’s gonna keep an eye on me. Bad customer service.

They close at 5 on Saturday not at 5:30 like it says on Google.1 year ago, I would have given them a 5 star. I bought an amazing terrarium from the store and the 2 people who were there were an absolute delight to deal with. One of them was the person who created the terrarium and she gave us loads of useful information and we chatted.Today, the lady who was there was superficially polite but in truth, rude and righteously defensive and we walked out without doing our shopping after our exchange with her.Google said that the store closes at 5:30pm. However, when we got there right before 5pm to get some Christmas shopping, she informed us that they closed at 5pm.We thought we should let the person at the cash know so that other customers weren't misled or disappointed.However, when we did let the person at the front know that their hours on Google is wrong, the person at the counter was very dismissive and said they have no control over the hours on Google and that they have no graphic designer to update the hours on their website, either.If they cannot take responsibility to take care of their customers (and I think having wrong hours will waste a lot of people's time), I will happily give my business elsewhere.I am attaching the below information not to be petty about it but because I would love to support local businesses and also support the person who creates such an amazing terrarium!How to change your business hours on Google Maps:1. I absolutely love going into this store! The staff are amazing and everyone is so kind and willing to help. They always have new stock arriving and have gone out of their way for the customers who love the card classes to now have take home card kits due to Covid. I have lived in a lot of places and have never found a store that makes you feel so welcome and has everything you need.

This is my favorite store in Kelowna. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the owner is absolutely amazing. This is the small business that I wanted to make sure that made it through the pandemic. I travel from out of town every few weeks just to see the friendly faces and to see what delightful new treasures have been stocked. The staff remembers your name and even what you previously purchased so that they can make suggestions to you. This is seriously the best customer service that I have ever received. They also have an online shop in case you cannot go to the store in person. I recommend this store to all of my friends.
