Shoppers Drug Mart

My wife and I have been using this Shoppers since it opened, after many years of great experience with the Shoppers at No. 2 and Blundell. Why move? Because we live Steveston. After a brief learning curve at the beginning, this staff has made every effort to get to know us and to serve us in the best possible way. Especially helpful are the key pharmacists. I realize that if you come once you might have a disappointing experience for any number of reasons (including reasons related to the customer). However, after hundreds of visits and purchases I would rank this store as one of the best we've had the opportunity to frequent. Keep up the good work.

This would be a 5 star review as I love the location and the staff but do have issues with the owner. He has been ridiculously strict about me being in my 3.5 pound Hypo allergenic Yorkie in the store even though she is in a bag. Let me be very clear I’m walking in and out with her in a carrier, she never touches the ground. I walk/bike down there and am scared to leave her outside in case she gets loose or stolen. In the 50 years I have lived here not one other shoppers has had any issues or concerns.

Their self checkout is a tad annoying but their pharmacy staff is always helpful. Food selection is better now being part of President's Choice brand. Not a cosmetics person but Shoppers seems popular for several decades.

I love going to this shoppers drug mart location. Staff are really kind and helpful each time I come. However, tonight the male security guard keeps staring at me and thinking I am stealing! For **** sake, I maybe poor but I never steal. He is the only person there, after me going there almost everyday, it is my first time to encounter something like this. I work hard for my money and living honestly. Very very very uncomfortable for me and my daughter! He made me feel degraded! The guard maybe doing his job but it is not right to assume. You were staring at me rudely while paying at the self check out, and my daughter witnessed how you stared at me! Thank you security guard for degrading and humiliating me. You should have stop when I was putting all the things in the counter so I can pay! The lady who helped me use my gift card at the self check out is extremely nice and the supervisor.

It might not as be big as other Shoppers, but has a good selection, very convenient location. The pharmacists are also very helpful. One of them was very patient with my kid the other day for a booster shot appointment. I highly recommend this Shoppers branch!

They will not do the return for anything if you open the products !The staff asked the custom stand outside the checkout point for half hour , then say sorry that they can do nothing.The question is how can I know the products good or not if I am not use it ?I don't know other shopper stores work, I won't buy anything expect medicines in this store in future.Reply to Shoppers: you guys just understood my feeling, but do noting ! You should solve problem rather than speak official words like AI. You will never realize why you lose customers just because you could not match the good service as Amazon or other stores.

The Shoppers Pharmacy staff here are very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and very caring people. One of my best family friends was a Pharmacist at Shoppers for over 40 years (not at this location) and I know that she would be proud of the effort and professionalism that the pharmacy staff here consistently exhibit. I feel my family is very well taken care of by the pharmacy staff. Thank you!

Grace and Chantal in the Pharmacy are a credit to this Shopper Drug Mart. Courteous, patient, attentive and always a big smile on their faces.

Today my husband received this covid booster from this pharmacy. The pharmacist did not explain to him that the vaccine he consented to receive was not the BA4/BA5 covid vaccine. He was given the older version of the bivalent covid vaccine which did not provide protection against the newer omicron variants. My advise to you is that do your homework before you get your vaccines; you cannot reply on the person giving you the vaccine to have your best interest in mind.

I was very Impressed with Daniel's prompt attention to service. He was loading the shelves when he noticed we began to line up to pay. He left what he was doing and promptly came to serve us. After we were done, when we were outside starting our car, we noticed that he quickly replenished the pull on carts to the entrance side from where the customers left it once they were done at the exit.This shoppers Drug Mart also has a stock of cough syrups. Please purchase only 1 at a time.
