Tech overcharged he got lost. He's not professional. We were charged $336 for 2.5 labour and truck. Our Hobart dough machine we called about wasn't fixed. We were given estimate for 2 pieces need (turns out not needed) $3000.00Called an electrician. Fixed the machine and repaired the breaker which caused the whole problem. Cost $100.00. Careful when calling them.

Having issues with our dishwasher at our business which is located far from any Hobart service people. Leo the parts man was great and messaged a serviceman named Ron so that he could make sure I ordered the right parts. Ron phoned me back right away and spent as much time on the phone as I needed to understand the machine and troubleshoot what might be wrong. Fortunately when I went to do the troubleshooting steps he laid out for me, the machine started working again, but at least now I know what to look for and what might be on its way out. Excellent service and worth going through them for parts, because they will take the time to make sure you are ordering the right ones. Even if you can find parts cheaper online elsewhere, it will probably save you money in the long run going through these guys because you will diagnose broken parts right first try. It will also save loads of time, instead of trying to diagnose things yourself, to just call them up.

Poor customer service and unprofessional technical team. I called in for a service of a steamer machine, it's leaking from the back. They sent a technician but the problem did not solved properly after the service. I called them to let the technician come back and double check his work, but they just ignored my request. They were kept sending me the bill over and over again, and tried to get me pay for the unfinished work. They sent me letters from their lawyer. My request is simple, send the technician back and double check his work. Why did this company bringing this to the next level? I have never said I'm not going to pay the bill, all I want is send someone to clean up the mess before asking me to pay. I got a phone call from them two weeks ago, still the guy who was trying to get me pay the bill and not paying attention on my request. He also said he did not believe in my words and he would talk to his manager, then did not let me finish my sentences and handed up the phone. I believe there is a manager in the company but never showed up or talk to me. They told the lawyer we were making up a story and wanted a deal after received the bill,in facts, we told them the leak is still going on after the service not after received the bill. What I have got is the final warning from there laywer instead of their manager get back to me. What kinds of training did this company provided to employees? They did not paying attention on our request. Their customer services really made me sick. I had enough, I paid almost a thousand dollars for their unfinished work. If I know they does not have the skill to fixed the machine, I could have called somebody else instead. Not suggesting this company and I'd never come back to them.

Title: Hobart 20 Quart Mixer - Do Not Buy!Review:I bought a Hobart 20 quart mixer in December 2022. It was working great for the first few months, but then it started to make a loud noise and the motor started to overheat. I called Hobart to report the problem, and they told me that the warranty was only good for one year. The mixer was only 6 months old, so I was very disappointed.I tried to argue with Hobart, but they wouldn't budge. They said that the engine was totally damaged and that was because of heavy load and they put the responsibility on us. I'm a home baker, so I don't need a commercial mixer. I just need a mixer that will last for more than 6 months.I'm very disappointed with Hobart's customer service. I would not recommend their products to anyone.Additional Details:Model: Hobart 20 quart mixerDate of purchase: October 2022Date of malfunction: March 2023Steps taken to contact Hobart customer service: Called Hobart customer service and explained the situation.Response from Hobart customer service: Hobart customer service said that the warranty was only good for one year and that the engine was totally damaged because of heavy load. They refused to repair or replace the mixer.Overall experience with Hobart products and customer service: Very disappointed with both the product and the customer service.Conclusion:I would not recommend Hobart products or customer service to anyone. I'm very disappointed with the way that Hobart handled this situation. I'm back to using my old Omcan 20 quart mixer, which works much better than the Hobart mixer did.
