Shoppers Drug Mart

There is no handicapped parking close to the entrance. You have to park on the other side of two lanes of traffic. Not too impressed with this design. It is a nightmare when there is snow on the ground!

Called 5-6 times and finally theres someone pick up the phone and she is SUPER rude. Call around 11:10 wednesday march 15th 2023.

I realize that canada Post does their own hiring. The young lady working in your store on Dec 7 th at approximately 11 am should not be working with public. You may want to consider her for back room work. I was in to mail 14 calendars at $3:19 0 help. I will avoid your store and certainly that Canada post from now on.

Very poorly stocked with multiple items.( from hair , feminine and never have replacement sharps containers) I leave empty handed and off to A better SDM.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. It’s unfortunate that it’s the only location near the hospital open until 12am. They didn’t have enough of the medication I required, and said to come back for the rest (not indicating when that would be). Did not even dispense enough of the medication to get us until their next delivery. Then we were not able to transfer to another location for the rest of the medication. So had to drive across town AGAIN to pick up some to get us until tomorrow. Will have to go back a third time to get the rest. All this with one of the most expensive dispensing fees I’ve ever seen.A sick person should not have to drive to you 3 times to fill a prescription. If your policy doesn’t permit me to transfer to another pharmacy - then give me enough of the medication to get to your next shipment. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just changed to this pharmacy from another st Catherines location and this one is just as bad as the last one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. DENIES MEDICATION I NEED DAILY, DISPITE HAVING CALLED IT IN ONCE AND A SECOND TIME TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY FILLED IT, TO RECIEVE NOTHING WHEN I ARRIVE. it seems the only good shoppers pharmacy is in Niagara Falls, i would suggest taking your business there OR changing to a different companies pharmacy.

The cashier won’t let me return a product that was purchased at other location, she said I only can return it at the original store because it was on sale and I can’t return it at different locations.I bring back to the original store that I purchased the product, and told the cashier what was happened, they said it’s weird because they don’t have that Kinda policy and they always accept products returned from other store on sale or not.I’m not sure what’s the real reason why they won’t let me return it, but for sure this store have really bad customer service and they definitely not care about their customer. will not go back again even tho I live close by.

Alicia T at the Beauty Boutique was amazing! She took her time showing me products and shade matching me. She helped me find the most perfect foundation in the exact shade that I needed. We’ve been using this pharmacy since it moved into its current location years and years ago, and even when it was at the Ridley Plaza before that, so we’re pretty familiar with it.It seems the last few years the new management/ownership has not kept up with the previous one, despite COVID. It seems the previous owner/management was much more efficient and organized.Many times the pharmacy doesn’t have enough of one medication and you have to go back twice.Just before the end of 2002, immediately when I could renew my one medication, and ordering it in advance as we were leaving on vacation Jan 3rd, the pharmacy called on December 30th to say they didn’t have it in stock. I asked if any other Shoppers Drug Mart in the area had it and they said they didn’t know; that the onus was on me to call around to see if the medication was available. I couldn’t believe it. A company the size of Shoppers telling its patients to call around to see if any other locations have the drug. And, if they did, I could either get it there, or to call them back and they would fax the prescription over. My husband was so angry he told them to ship the prescription to the pharmacy at the SuperStore across the street. The prescription was then filled the next day.While we were on vacation, Shoppers then texted me to say that my prescription was now ready for pickup and if they didn’t hear from me by Jan 14th they would cancel it.Mind boggling! They just don’t have a handle on what they’re doing.We’re not impressed at all by the pharmacy, but the rest of the store is usually very good, though I’ve noticed some prices on products is much higher here than in other stores.The post office is always good, the checkouts, and the beauty area where they always greet you as you walk through the door are also friendly, helpful, and attentive.We have dealt with this Shoppers for so many years, but the pharmacy really needs improvement.

Came in looking for a gift for my girlfriend, Alicia T was extremely helpful with choosing the right gift & on top of the she was very accommodating to everything I was curious about. 10/10 service, thanks again!
