Brought my Tacoma to this dealership for oil change and service in Dec 2022 for an intermittent issue. They advised to return when they issue presented itself again without notifying me my warranty was expiring in 1 month. They are now refusing service on this issue and quoted me $900 for the repair since I am out of warranty" by 2 months even though they were advised of the same problem during the warranty period."

My wife and I bought a pre-owned Toyota Venza from Marty Cayer at Cornwall Toyota a few years ago. The experience was great and we really enjoyed the vehicle, so when we decided to shop for another vehicle recently, we returned to Cornwall Toyota on a few occasions to check out their selection.Although they didn’t stock the used Toyota we hoped to find, Marty Cayer and Mark Hickman were quick to greet us, and were very helpful with answering questions and discussing any concerns we had.We ended up finding/purchasing a used vehicle elsewhere, however, due to the great experiences at Cornwall Toyota in the past, we will continue to encourage their business.Thank you!

I had been working with an employee there about buying a car for about a month before Christmas. Got the quotes, and from the beginning I was upfront about being from Ottawa and told them why I wanted to buy in Cornwall. He had no issue and once I was ready to order in January he said I just had to drive out to sign a paper when I had the chance. It took me until February before I could go, but when I called and was ready to buy he said he couldn’t sell to me because I wasn’t from Cornwall. I asked why he didn’t make that clear over the past 2 months when I had been discussing this with him. He said nothing he could do, company policy. They won’t sell to you if you don’t live there because they make most of their money off service. I called Toyota Canada and while they had never heard of anywhere else doing that, they couldn’t help me because each dealership makes their own policy. I have checked with 8-9 other Toyota dealerships in smaller areas and in different provinces, and no one else has a policy like that. Clearly customer service isn’t their priority, they’d rather I go buy from any other dealership (none of the other dealerships in Cornwall have this policy except Toyota).

I was very nervous buying a new car on my own, especially having dealt with another dealership for many years. I took family's advice and went to see if Toyota had any gently used cars. Not many of these available, but Nick showed me a brand new 2022 Corolla. No pressure, just pointed out the amazing features and after trying it, I knew that was the car for me. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase. I reserve my opinion about the servicing because I haven't needed it yet!

The friendly and knowledgeable staff at this dealership is the definition of great service. From the no pressure purchase of my used 4runner to the phenomenal work from the service department, both exceeded my expectations. My last visit was to install an aftermarket suspension lift which I provided the parts, something that not all dealerships are ok doing since they didn't get a sale of parts. Not only was this fact a non issue, they followed my specific needs and instructions to the letter and took extreme care to install and verify safety and function. For these reasons, I will not only highly recommend this location, I will be a returning customer for all my Toyota needs.
