Mark and his team did a great job rebuilding our 40 year old chimney. Considering the brick was no longer in production he did a fantastic job matching the new with the old. Mark and his crew were a little bit late to start work on our chimney this year, which was understandable given the supply chain issues (delay in procuring bricks that matched the colour of our house) and the unusually wet weather we had in July. Despite the delay, it was worth the wait: Mark and his crew did a fantastic job in rebuilding our chimney – so much so that you couldn't easily tell where the rework had been done. The transition between the old and new bricks was seamless and looked original to the house. They were very professional; the work was thorough and done promptly and they left our house in the same way they found it – overall, they had an organized construction site. Mark and his crew were a breeze to work with. Our century-old mortar was showing its age, and they made quick work of it, cutting out and replacing cracking sections all around the perimeter of our house. The new mortar blends right in and is hard to point out, even though the brick is set to be repainted, and colour was never a big concern. The job was done promptly and exactly as quoted, and cleanup was spotless. Can't recommend the Symmetry team enough!
