I just finished my Open Water Diver today after two great weekends with the Action Scuba Team. All the instructors were great, fun and I always felt safe with them down at the bottom of the pool and the St Lawrence river. I also felt well prepared with their theory review of the Open Water Diver book. Simply an amazing experience and I would recommend Action Scuba to all out there who want to learn how to dive :)

A terrific Dive Center with a great team of staff and instructors.I started diving with Action Scuba about 6 months ago after arriving in Montreal from Australia. From my first email contact with Action Scuba, I was treated as a valued client and felt welcomed into their diving community. I have since taken and continue to take additional dive training with Action Scuba and have found them to be a fun, safety conscious and very very knowledgeable group.I have no hesitation in recommending Action Scuba to new and experienced divers alike. I have no doubt you will be warmly welcomed and well looked after, as I was.

Took the Open Water PADI course with Action Scuba because it was highly recommended by a friend. Enrolled our entire family of 5 for the course this summer. Just completed our open water dives and all 5 of us are certified!! The level of instruction was exemplary. The instructors were incredibly organized, supportive, encouraging and helpful. The staff at the Action Scuba store were the same. They all took the time to talk with us, answer any questions and offer all kinds of advice. During the pool sessions and the Open Water dives Action Scuba ensured that the pupil instructor ration was 3 to 1 at all times - which is incredible!Clearly the people involved in the set up, certification, and follow up are not only qualified but are passionate about what they do.Thanks to our main instructors Jen, Marc and Carolyn (and Jude!) plus all the other the Action Scuba staff who were on site - you are awesome!!!Well done!!Thanks for a great experience.Thanks for a great experience

I completed my Open Water and Adv. Open Water courses with Action Scuba. Both experiences were very positive. The courses were well structured and the dives were well organized. Throughout the experience, I had no doubt in my mind that I was learning the right information to scuba dive properly and safely.In addition to the excellent quality of training, I found the instructors and staff very knowledgeable, accommodating and enthusiastic about diving; making the experience all the more enjoyable.

Took my 10 year old son and our 14 year old neighbor to discover scuba course today. Kids were glowing on the way home, had a day they will remember. Stephane the instructor is stellar ,he was personable, instructive, playful and he watched over the boys like a hawk. Thanks to Liz too ,who set it all up seamlessly for us whenI called Action Scuba

I did the theory and pool portion of my Open Water certification here in September 2016. The atmosphere was great and the instructors made everything very simple and fun! They were very accommodating to any concerns and encouraged questions. The instructors I had were all awesome!! Or, Andre, Jude and Liz really made my first experiences to scuba diving great!!

I have had the opportunity to do my open water certification with action scuba and I gotta say I wasn't disappointed!From beginning to end, the service was above and beyond my expectations! I came twice to the shop before registering for my open water class and I never felt pressured to take the class! The staff was super friendly and very helpful! When taking the class, I was impressed by the number of instructors they had! It seemed very important that everyone gets the maximum out of this course! When someone shows difficulty with a certain skill they take him apart with an instructor to make sure he gets the skill right!I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to start diving! You would not regret your choice! For myself, I'll continue taking courses with these guys!

I just did the Open Water Dive Certification course and the Instructors at Action Scuba were just so incredible - their experience, patience, and encouragement made my time in the course something special! I am definitely grateful that I got certified with Action Scuba - the quality of the teaching, the learning environment, and the atmosphere there made it worthwhile! There was one skill in particular that I had difficulty with (the skill itself is pretty easy, but I had mentally psyched myself out of it and it was a tough one for me); and at one point I almost gave up on my dream to scuba dive, but my instructor, Marc, was very patient and understanding, and he did not let me give up on myself, and thanks to that encouragement I ended up completing the course, enjoying myself, and was motivated to sign up for the Advanced Open Water dive! Thank you to all the wonderful instructors and dive masters, especially Marc, Jude, and Jennifer whose patience and encouragement really made all the difference to me!! :) I am most grateful for my experience and the wonderful people I met through Action Scuba! :)You can definitely see student-centered learning being applied at Action Scuba, every staff member I met has been helpful and pleasant to interact with!

Recently wrapped up the first part of my open water certification with Or as my instructor. He was friendly, meticulous, and his passion for diving was contagious. By the end of the weekend I felt very comfortable with the core skills, in no small part to his excellent explanations and instructions as well as his eagerness to repeat until we were comfortable.I wholeheartedly recommend Or as well as Action Scuba in general. I really appreciated how many experienced divers were hanging around the course and chipping in as needed with demos or to ensure that we really understood the material and skills (thanks Tyler and Liz!). It's always a great sign when folks are there not because they need to be there, but because they want to be there. It's a great team, I had a fantastic time, and I'm looking forward to continuing with the program!

Benoît helped us during our visit where I was looking for my first mask after completing my open water in January 2022 elsewhere. I was going on a diving trip to Mexico and wanted my first piece of equipment ever. He was amazing and so knowledgable. I 100% recommend this shop because of people like Ben who work here and give great tips and movation for scuba diving!! I also loved my mask selection and price.
