Top quality service! My first time there and he killed the fade, along with cleaning up my beard and lining everything up with the razor. Would recommend, shop was great! Everything was on point, and I’ll be booking again.

Easily the best barber located in the Cowichan Valley. Always very energetic and professional. Derick takes pride in his work and it shows. Always open to suggestions and provides A-1 services. Derick uses top of the line products and tools, combined with his expertise. Although 44 Collective is home-based, the minute you walk in you'd never know it was. Dericks shop has a very modern feel but, with subtle hints of a retro barbershop. Would recommend anyone to Derick!

Derick is one of the hardest working individuals I’ve ever met, the experience at his hair studio is unmatched. He is extremely precessional and the experience is always a good one. Derick is very passionate about what he does and it shows in his eye to detail and incredible customer service.

I was visiting Duncan and heard that our friend was a barber now, so we decided that I get a haircut from him. After I got the haircut, I was in awe. Ut was the best haircut I've ever gotten. Highly recommended!

I was in Victoria for a week on a business trip and a friend of mine suggested to see Derick in Duncan (45 minute drive.) I was a bit hesitant to drive that far for a haircut but I DO NOT REGRET it at all!!! I probably got the best haircut of my life, Derick gave me the best fade and sharpest beard lineup ever! If I lived in Victoria I would drive to Duncan every week to get a cut from him! Starting from the consultation to the end product there was not one moment where Derick wasn't attentive to my preference and opinion on every detail! You can tell he loves what he does and he does it with love! Best barber in Duncan!

I live in Vic but I go to Duncan just to get a hair cut from Derrick. I have been to many barbers and no one can beat Derick. He takes his time, and I enjoy my experience. I highly recommend.

Amazing young Barber, awesome in home Barber Shop, recently completed Barber School and is taking the Barber scene by storm, super talented, from hair cuts to beard trimming and straight razoring this guy can do it all, I have been going to him for a couple years now and would not go anywhere else, definitely go check him out
