The Playmate

This is kind of a dive bar strip club, but pretends to be more upmarket. Women are friendly and reasonable in looks, but they're not the stunners. No draft beer, and a can of Canadian will set you back $8 without a tip, on top of a door fee (somewhat cursory at $4). Compared with Pigale across the river, it just loses right now.

It's OK. I don't think I'll try any other adult clubs in Ottawa. It just doesn't compare to other cities. $20 for two coolers.. we were there for 2 hours and only one girl performed and none talked to us the entire time. They assume because we are a couple we don't tip which is not the case in high end joints. They were too busy riding some old man's face in the private room which was in clear view to anyone in the club.. just a bit of a trashy spot, I couldn't stand being there

This place is definitely top 3 for best strip clubs in Ottawa. (& there aren't many here to begin with lol. I always found that odd since this is the capital city..)✓Beautiful diverse dancers honestly. Don't let the rumours about the area deter you. Events here are awesome can't wait for Halloween

My girlfriends and I were going out for my sister’s 30th birthday and we were refused entry because we were women! We offered to make purchases within the establishment but they flat out told us no that we would require a male chaperone to enter. Is this not the 21st century? Women do enjoy other women. Oh well, their loss. We gladly took our business elsewhere.

My bf and I have been to this club before and had a good time, but the second time coming to this place we had a very odd experience. When we walked in, at first we weren't acknowledged and waited in the entrance for a few minutes then the person who I think was running the place comes up to us very accusingly telling us they just got robbed and it gave my bf and I very weird vibes so we decided to leave, and the guy literally followed us out of the club and asking us if we were parked around and just making us feel very uncomfortable as if he was accusing us or something when we were just trying to have a good night. Honestly probably won't come back.

I visited this place a couple times and so far I've had good experiences. I like how it's underground which adds to the cool vibes, feeling and setting. The waiters and strippers are friendly, the DJ plays some phenomenal music, and the events/contests are surprisingly fun to attend. You could meet and get along with some decent people there as long as you know what you're doing. Would I go here again?... Probably.

Really relaxed atmosphere, diverse ladies, friendly, enjoyable experience, even as a woman. Ask for Shannon, pretty black youngin who is very smart and has an awesome personality!

Got a dance from 'Topaz'. She straddled my leg.... I felt her fart on me.She said that she didn't and tried to play it off, but I could see her smiling and the smell was terrible.5 Stars, definitely going back!!

Overall a very good experience. Nice girls, and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
