I had one key and was looking to cut extra keys for my roof racks.He quoted $20+tax for a key and $40+tax for better quality key". He couldn't give a direct/clear answer of what exactly a "better quality key" is. I said "I'll think about my options" and he goes on to lecture me on how will eventually have to cut the roof racks off my car when I lose the key and how he doesn't need to wait for me and how he has large orders from Wal-Mart (and other big organizations) to fill.I did some research on my own and ordered the keys directly from the manufacturer at $3.75+tax. I received the keys shipped from the manufacturer of the roof racks in less than 30hrs of my interaction with him."

Ron is a great funny guy, my two trips going to his shop was wonderful and full of laugh. He's very knowledgeable and experienced. Our new house has very old locks and the size of them are unique. Ron recognized those only in market for 6 month locks manufactured 40 years ago when I got them out of the box. He replaced the core of the locks and gave me new keys. Thanks so much Ron! I won't hesitate to recommend Ron to anyone just like my friend recommends Ron to me.

Don't go here! We wanted to make a copy of a key, and Ron scratched off the key identification number from the original key and engraved his advertisement on it, without even asking us first. As if it was not enough, he charged us 10 times more than other places do (we only found out later). What a crook.

Gentlemen behind the counter was pushy and arrogant. I was looking to get travel trailer keys cut and was told they were expensive keys costing $20 a piece. Ridiculous and way over priced. Ended up going to GA locks and got the same keys cut for $5 a piece. Service was also friendlier. Never, ever will I ever go to Ron's locks again. They are a bunch of crooks!

Very quick, very efficient and friendly service from Ron. Duplicated Weiser keys with no fuss. Absolutely recommend.

I received a key to my new business. Ron made the key and scratched off the identification number on it so that Home Hardware wouldn't be able to copy it. He charges more than three times what they charge. Absolutely unprofessional, cheap tactics to force people in his door by preying on people who need to make a business run.

Called to ask a simple question about replacing a key for my truck bed cover. (Dealer advised me to call a locksmith)The person on the phone was rude and condescending before i could even finish my first question. Totally caught me off guard as it was a pretty simple question. Wasn’t sure what set him off... eventually told me he’s been doing this 47 years and of course he could replace the key... needless to say I’m not giving him the business. Weird experience.

Ron is very knowledgeable. I had 2 issues with my business locks and within minutes he knew how to resolve it, had the required equipment in stock and also explained how to carry out the install in order to save us money. Overall a great experience and will continue to use Ron when we need him.

We received excellent emergency customer service at Ron's Lock and Key today. We were impressed: the price for our car key was far less than at the dealer.
