Cobourg East Campground

My family loves this Camp ground. Such great prices to camp, very clean well kept camp ground! My kids love it there. It's truly the best kid friendly camp ground we've been too! Long weekends are the best, the street dances, carnival such a lovely place to enjoy with your family :)

Beautiful campground, affordable and free showers. Definitely on my list if I go back that way.

After just 5 minutes of arriving to the camp ground myself and my friend were yelled at for not checking in to the office. Although, I explained I was looking for my mother to check which site my friend and I were staying at before checking in. They then followed with rude glares and not allowing us to leave the front office to find my mother, but told us we could not check in without knowing which site we were staying on. My mother was also charged an extra person for the cabin as the cabin can only hold up to 4 adults and 2 children, but only 4 adults are staying in the cabin and we payed for 5 adults. Also, 16 years old is considered an adult when booking for cabins but not an adult for after swim hours. So far from my experience I will not be coming back and hope they can work on their costumer service skills as they spoke disrespectfully to two children just arriving at there campgrounds.

We just got back from this campground this weekend. We had an excellent time. Grounds are well kept. The pool was also really clean to swim in. Washrooms were always clean. The sites are a nice size. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice and quiet park so we weren't trying to sleep with a bunch of people partying. We will definitely be back and I have already suggested this park to friends and family.

Great place with excellent sites and service. Being a rule and common sense follower, my wife and I had a fantastic and relaxing time there. The friendliest place we have been to so far. Staff was courteous and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Site was spacious and clean, services worked flawlessly and quiet hours were observed by everyone. Seasonal and transient campers were all very friendly. Had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Stayed in one of the cabins recently. This place is really nice and cute for its size. Grounds and facilities are very well maintained. Cabins seem new and modern. Outlets with usb ports, A/C, microwave and some bonus counters with drawers & cupboards. 2 Bunks with doubles on the bottom and singles up top. The fire pit and bbq’s at the back are great but unless the person in the cabin beside you is someone you know you basically share the back space which isn’t very private otherwise. One let down is how strict they are with things like quiet time, we were 2 families sharing the space being very respectful of our noise level. No loud music etc. And at 11pm we were told to “Quiet down” by a very angry aggressive man. Approach people with a little more respect and kindness, it goes a long way, such as this review and many others with the same issues. We just went to bed because there was no way to be any quieter. The older woman at that office / store seems to not want to be there or absolutely hates doing it. Not very friendly at all so avoid small talk. Middle aged gentleman was super nice and very helpful. We still had a ton of fun at the pool, basketball and by the creek. So overall not a bad experience just not great.

Incredible fireworks Free pancake breakfast, outdoor movie games, including potato sack and 3 legged race. Swimming pool recreation room play area for the kids. There are back in and pull through campsites new cabins can be rented . There was a parade the park is spotless

Nice owners. Rented one of their cabins. It was like new and very clean. Kids loved it and want to go back next year. They had arts and crafts and had a reptile show for the kids. A little pricey but only an hour and a bit outside of Toronto. Nearby Cobourg beach was really nice as well. Papas pizza inside Cobourg worth a try wish we bought more.

Very pleasant and quiet stopover between Toronto and Montreal. Level and easy access sites well set up. Will be happy to return anytime. Very reasonable.

Great overnight stop. Friendly staff, lots of seasonal sites. Trees and open fields. An incredible river filled with salmon! Enjoyed watching them swim upstream then jump the small waterfall into a still section.
