Duncan Meadows Golf Course

Course is a mix of wide open link style with some tight tree-lined holes. Almost a 5-star if not for some very dry and hard areas, including tee boxes.

The course is very nice. It was however very wet and carts were on the path only. I understand the need for that but wish I had known that when we booked. Makes for a lot of walking and a slower round. I may have rebooked for another time or not used the cart. Don't really feel like it actually saved me steps and the cart had very little value.

Good golf course, currently in good shape. The greens are quite slow it appeared they hadn't been cut or rolled recently. Friendly staff. A nice deck to have a cold one after your game overlooking the 18th green.

Tough track that has some good spots. I think this course will make a better player out of people that play it lots. Fun design and really makea you think. A little but shaggy in the fairways but greens played very well. Enjoyed it and will be back.

We played 18 holes today after hearing good things about the course. We were pretty disappointed across the board. The greens were full of non-repaired divots, dead grass all over, and the worst part was the rental clubs. We got a Top Flight “set” that had 5 irons of 4 different brands. For $130 for round, cart and clubs, it was a major let down. At $65 for cart and green fee I would have been satisfied.

I've played this course quite a few times over the years. It is one of my favourites on Vancouver Island. It looks like it is wide open and easy from the road, but don't be deceived; it's a very demanding track. But they also have different sets of tees, including a very advanced set that my wife enjoys. Like any course on the island, it can get a bit dry at times, but overall the conditions are great.One thing to be aware of is that if you're not in pretty good shape, it's a bit of a demanding walk. It's easy to not recognize the elevation changes, but your legs are talking to you walking up quite a few of the holes, even when they look like they're flat. They're not.The people who run the course are great! They're always friendly, welcoming, and remember you. I've never eaten there, but its a great place to sit and have at drink overlooking the course.All in all, this is a great golfing experience!

A little dry outside of fairways and greens, but a decent layout and shape. FYI: restaurant wasn't open on Saturday Sept 24 so plan accordingly.

The course was pretty good. Lot's of places where the cart had to stick to the path which wasn't a big deal but takes away from the value of it. The Course Marshall asked us to speed up quite firmly while there was no one behind us and no one infront of us. I appreciate being proactive but we started rushing and never saw the group behind us. Paid $25 to rent some Dunlop clubs that were in a bag that was falling apart and it wasn't even a complete set. If you're gonna rent some clubs just check Facebook market place and buy yourself a set. I'd play the course again for the COURSE but didn't care for the services.

Awesome family owned golf course in Duncan. Grace, Ming, and Gary always provide exceptional friendly service.For an 11 handicap this course can be very challenging. Nonetheless you cannot beat Duncan meadows for the price. It’s location also always seems to be sunny and hot. They offer a driving range, as well as awesome events every weeksCan’t wait to return this summer and give this track another shot.

Course is in good shape and engaging. But be prepared for a 5 hour round. Marshal wouldn’t do anything when groups had two open holes a head of them. At one point we had 6 people on a tee box. Ended up just skipping two holes on the back when the front took 2hours and 45 minutes
