Bought my first used car recently and brought it into 7eighty for inspection and tune up. Nothing but positive things to say from the quality of work to the pricing. I highly recommend anyone with hesitations about mechanics. 7Eighty are solid people that care about their work and it shows.

i have been to this location a couple times now and the first time was amazing no complaints but the second time i went to get a block heater installed. I was quoted a certain amount of money, they then charged me 100 over what they quoted and said what they had to install came in two separate pieces. i work on cars and never have i seen this product show up in two pieces it always came as one. After i pointed it out they didn't seem to care much about giving me a refund until my stepdad posted a negative review about them. the worker then proceeded to say that i wont get my refund unless the review was taken down. my step dad took down the review and still over a month of trying to get a refund i have not received it. this company has lost my respect and me as a consumer.

I have always received excellent service at this shop. Was able to get my air conditioning recharged for $140 which is quite reasonable. Excellent communication from mechanic.

Been going here for a few years now. Solid quick turn around times and have come through for me on last minute fixes. Only shop I honestly go to, they’ve done right by me and they get the work done, but explain issues to me very well, they charge very reasonably and have never tried to do me wrong but instead have gone the extra mile for me.

I have been going to 7eighty for a little bit now to have my E46 looked at, and unfortunately I cannot give them a positive review. While the mechanics seemed to have some knowledge about cars, they were terrible at communication and did not properly conclude the issue with my vehicle. Instead of finding and fixing the issue, they tried to upsell me on unnecessary services that I did not need(verified by a different shop opinion). A simple task such as balancing should not be an issue for a mechanic, and if it is I should not be upsold on other parts.Overall, I found the service to be lacking in quality and honesty, and I would not recommend this mechanic shop to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to get their car serviced. The only reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one is that they did do certain jobs for me at decent prices and were accommodating but not too often if it was not benefiting the house

Recently had our winter tires changed over and paid for a diagnostics here due to a squeaky front suspension. The tires were returned to us at 20PSI (should be 35), the full diagnostics was not done, they simply looked at our front suspension and quoted a control arm at $550. When I returned to have the control arm installed I told them they didn't do the diagnostics which we paid for, they agreed to do it that day as well. I received a phone call they needed later in the day they needed to saw off and replace 2 bolts on the control arm, this increased the price somehow to $900 total? When I picked up the vehicle the front alignment was WAY off, I called them and they said it would be an additional cost to fix and they would try and squeeze us in"....We have a very bad taste in our mouth after trying to support local. Definitely feel taken advantage of. Will not return based on this. Back to fountain tire we go.We still have a clunking sound when turning which was NOT diagnosed when we literally paid for a diagnostic!"
