Hickling Pools & Spas

We’ve been using their service for 2 years and have been extremely happy. Great service and very knowledgeable. This year we got our pool opened by them and discovered they are under new management. Our pool looks disgusting. Still green and full of debris. I’ve never experienced this with them before. Definitely won’t be using their service anymore.

Big thank you to Howard and Mindy and team at Hickling Pools and spas. Just before family day I noticed my hot tub had an error code and was not running. They guided me through what to do to ensure I did not damage my tub with the cold weather and helped me diagnosed the problem. Was able to to drop the pump off and they had a new pump for me to install the next day. Hot tub is back up and running! Thanks for your help, advice and friendly service. It’s worth the drive from Port to Uxbridge!

Been dealing with Hickling since summer of 2003. They have built two pools for me (second one after I moved) and did. Arrest job in both. Gasses! They open and close the pool. Always helpful, friendly staff at the store!

Careless, unprofessional, ignoring, and rude. Customer service is a strange word to these people.They came to open my pool a few weeks ago. There was a small opening at the corner of the cover (which was the result of their bad closing last fall). So they felt free instead of cleaning the cover, to dumped the whole leaves, garbage and dirt gathered in the tarp into my pool. Then they dropped all the tubes and covers full of water and dirt in my shed over fertilizer and lawn seed bags and left before we realize they were done. It took them half an hour to make a disaster in my backyard before they leave without letting us know. They didn't connect the pipes, they didn't run the motor, they didn't clean anything, they just empty the cover into the pool and dumped everything in my shed and left....We called the office they said they would come to finish their job but they never showed up. We called again to follow up. I also started to explain how their staff negligence caused my boxes and bags in the shed to get water damage but before I finish my talk, the guy, Howard, cut me off and said he was busy and hung up on me. They never got our calls since then.We are working hard to clean up the mess they made in our pool the whole week but still couldn't clean it fully. I had to purchase a whole bunch of lawn seeds and fertilizers for my garden as they ruined everything in my shed.The pictures show the bottom of my pool after 5 sessions of cleaning. I don't know if there's anywhere we can report them.

Tried to get an estimate from this company for three weeks. I called numerous times and was told to expect a response. Still waiting to hear from them. Have contacted another firm that came and gave an estimate in no time. They got the job! Business must be very good not to call a client back on a 15-20k job.

DON’T USE THEM!! Retained their services for a new liner on April 11, 2019; I am still without a liner and have to look at an empty pool in this July heatwave. They made a site visit with samples on April 13. Liner, etc. was hopefully to be installed by late June. Had to call them (June 18) once site was prepped to come measure, etc. They didn’t show up on date promised. Pool was measured on June 21. Again, I had to call them. I called on July 9 in am and pm; advised they don’t want my business. Thanks so much for letting me know in July. On July 10/11 had to contact other companies. Morning of July 12, picked up/refunded retainer. Evening of July 12, I have an empty pool waiting for a liner and coping with a hotter than ....... weekend and week ahead of me. Customer service sucks. I thought they were professional; not! They did nothing but provide me with a headache and stress; thanks for nothing. I have buoycotted them.

Have been a customer of Hickling for 5 years now; the store staff have always been super helpful, friendly and courteous. This is our first year where we’re using Hickling’s weekly pool cleaning services and WOW!!! Our pool is absolutely perfect, the tech is super friendly. Having Hickling clean our pool weekly is honestly life changing! Highly recommend them!
