The chicks arrived with 14 out of 16 healthy and alive; I was given a credit for the dead chicks.I specifically asked if there was a cost difference if I picked up at their office or had the chicks shipped to one of their drop off points when placing my order and was told it was the same cost, however I was charged a $26 shipping charge for $50 worth of chicks.I had asked for a confirmation email, which I was promised and never received; it would have shown this shipping charge and I would have simply picked the chicks up from their office.

Giant Cornish Cross at 8 wks plus 1 day. The smallest hen made our Wyandotte x roo look small. So, weight guess 10 to 14 lbs. These chickens get huge with no leg problems. This was our first attempt at meat chickens. Anstey's staff was very helpfull and answered all our questions when we bought the chicks. The chicks were healthy and ready on pickup date. Butchered 96 out of an order of 100. Thx Anstey's!

Excellent service, great advice clean. Only thing I never got my receipt for the purchase of birds. Preety sure they will give me a copy when I phone tomorrow. Excellent service at front desk. Been going for last 5 years service and health of birds have been 5 star

I have been buying from Anstey Hatchery for the last 5 years or so. I have been very pleased with the chicks we have received and extremely impressed with the knowledge of the staff. They also provide everything required for the raising of chickens. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in poultry.
