I wish there was an option to give Zero Stars.... I unfortunately used the services of this company for moving from USA to Canada. And what a disaster... Pathetic service...1) They give you an approximate pick-up date and don't bother calling you on that morning to inform if the truck is even coming that day... You got to leave them messages, then get a call back only to hear that the truck will arrive the next day.2) The cargo was The cargo was delivered 4-5 weeks later than promised date. That is almost 3 times the promised turnaround time.... Next time ask your sales representatives to be honest and add some SLAs within your agreements. Stop promising customers something you cannot deliver.3) While the cargo sat in transit for 6-7 weeks, there was absolutely no update provided by the company on what is happening and why there is a delay. They do not even have people attending to calls and if you are lucky you may get to someone who has no clue as to why there is a delay, and what is the ETA for delivery... Typical cliche nonsense answers. No value for customers time.4) So when the truck finally arrives to the town and clears custom, the driver says that the cargo should be delivered the same afternoon... Guess what - no one turns up... When i call the driver, he says that there is no ground staff to do unloading of the luggage... And this is supposed to a transportation company !! The worse part is yet to come....5) The truck arrives home the next day... And there is the driver and another driver who has come to help - but neither of them are ones who were actually supposed to unload and assemble the cargo.... The guys who were supposed to do this work are still missing (or perhaps they never existed).... The driver is too old to do any heavy lifting and the other guy does his very best to move the stuff in and help assemble... And I have to spend a better part of my work day helping get in all the heavy luggage and then help the other person assemble it.... This was supposed to be done by professionals i had paid for, only to realize later how bad my decision was to even hire this company...6) Once the cargo is unloaded, we find there are missing as well as damaged items... The foot rails of bed are missing - so one of the beds cannot be assembled.. The TV table is broken because the packers forgot to unscrew the legs before packing.. And the indoor exercise bike is missing... Overall, goods worth $1000+ damaged/missing... I get all this duly mentioned on the delivery papers before signing the delivery and then submit a claims form with the company to get the amount reimbursed... For 6-7 weeks no response... Then arrives a letter stating the weight of the damaged/missing items (300Lbs) and shipping costs of $180.. No mention of actual value of goods - and the letter states since this amount is less than the deductible of $300 the company does not owe me anything.... Can you believe this !!I am not a person to usually writes such reviews... Businesses can make mistakes - not everyday or everyone can be perfect... But this experience was dismal....And the only reason I am writing this review is to enlighten others so they can make a better choice when deciding on their transportation/cargo company.

Worst service. Moved my car with house hold stuff.Told me very safe move because it is going in an enclosed container with my house hold stuff. All scratched up when it got to the destination. Never recommend.

Don’t use this moving company and make sure if you use a broker like TLC in NS they don’t use them because they do . Basically TLC gives you a 4-12 business delivery. You book it and AMS does the pick up . On the bill of lading they don’t put you date they put Carriers Convenience , but don’t tell you . I sign the 6 or 7 pages and wait for delivery. July21 pickup , I move into house Aug 3 and they delivered Sept 2 . Called and emailed many times . Put in claim because they were late and they show my bill of lading and say you signed it so you get nothing .

We had to find a moving company on a short notice and this one was recommended to us by another mover. They delivered it in 3 weeks as they had said and the men unloading were friendly. However, one piece of furniture was broken as I noticed later. I submitted a claims form, the service was very unpersonal, I received a letter a month later informing me that there would be no refund. They simply took the weight of the item (that I had to estimate) multiplied it by the per pound charge and said it was lower than the deductible. None of the surcharges that were on the original invoice were added to their calculation, neither did they consider the replacement value of the item. Overall, this company is rather expensive to start with. Not happy.

We used this company to ship our goods from ON to NL Apr.2022.If you want your goods in a timely manner, forget it. If you want your goods protected, forget it. If you want to claim for damage goods, forget it. I have emailed their claims dept. numerous times and no response. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I booked my move in May, 2022 with TLC Moving Solutions, they brokered AMS Transportation. June 23rd, I had the moving company pick up my home goods. Three movers came and everything was professional and done in a timely manner. The truck was loaded I found out my things would’nt be coming the same day and wasn’t given a date for delivery. After calling many times and paying amount of $7700, Two weeks later July 8th, at 10:00 am, my home goods are delivered to Michigan. First the driver hit my neighbour's mailbox, only two movers arrived, The mirror on my large vanity was cracked, broken lamp, large picture shattered, my daughter's bed was left unassembled, another mirror broken. Movers finished close to 9:00 pm ton the 8th. I was given a email to make a claim and have gotten no where. Do NOT book with this company !

Do not think of this company. Beware of Amanda (AR), Karen (Dispatch), Joe (dispatch), Bruce Harrison Thompson (3rd party agent) and Jeff (Driver)..whole team will rob you at every step. I will write detailed review shortly. Just wanted to warn future customers of AMS and Turn key Moving companies. Do yourself a favour and go for reputed companies and do your research. I have lost money, time and left with damaged goods on our recent move.

Adding to our horrible review posted in July 2021. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKSWe didnt even hire them, they were used as a sub contractor through Ameri-cana moving services who is no better than AMS transport to do our move. After thousands of dollars in damage to our furniture & landlords apartment during our move, we reported them to the BBB who couldn't do anything for us, after waiting 4 months we just received notice that they are declining our claim because the weight of our items does not meet the $300 deductible??? What does weight of an item have anything to do with damaging customers personal items? Not to mention they made no reference to the damages the movers did to the apartment. We have contacted our lawyer . Read reviews on this company, there are tons of customers that have had these same things done to them

I generally do not write derogatory reviews but rather vote with my pocket and elect not to give my business to them as my experience can be an outlier. However, this company seems to capitalize on the fact that repeat customers, especially for international moving, is not a part of their business plan and they treat you as such. I was moving from Ohio to Quebec, a distance of around 500 miles, a move size of a small 2 bedroom apartment. During the initial discussions, we were told the move would take 3-5 days. Long story short, it took 25 days of miserable calling, poor customer support and “you will get your shipment when we are ready” attitude. I had taken vacation for 7 days after my pickup date. When it was clear I couldn't just be twiddling my thumbs sitting in my empty new home, I told them to take their time and make sure it is delivered in 14 days and I will return - they were agreeable and said they will keep it in storage and deliver it at that time. So I went back to work in the States. I return on day 14 and they tell me it is my fault the shipment is not delivered as I did not want the shipment between days 7-14 when they wanted to deliver it." Had we been treated humanely

This is perhaps the worst transportation company to deal with.The only reason they get a one is because they had a good crew that came in to pack our stuff. Since then it's been 20 days, we have no visibility where our stuff is or when we will receive it. We keep calling them and get a standard response, we cannot provide you any dates ....When it comes to paying up in full, they insist on making full payment within 2 days, that's when you keep getting calls and follow up mails, once the payment is made in full, it's crickets ..
