We had rice, s&s chicken balls and sesame chicken. All good. Rarely have a bad experience here. Been coming here for years. I'm a rice addict and LOVE theirs!

first and last time here. we paid $30 for these small portions.we would of got more food from kfc. Big disappointment coming here.We have to go somewhere else to get more food for our kids

Favourite place for Chinese! Have been getting take out from here for many years. Food is fresh, delicious, great portions and the staff is very accommodating if you have to make substitutions or additions. 100% recommend.

Very pleasantly surprised. 6 oclock on a monday night. I walked in not realizing take-out only. I took a couple minutes deciding #1 meal for 2. I was out of there in 10 minutes! So fast and got home to enjoy one of the best egg rolls I've ever had followed by a very tasty, chow mein, perfectly done chicken balls and chicken fried rice could have had more chicken bits but not a big deal at all...there was egg in the rice..nice! So glad I gave East Place a try...I never even knew it was there on Centennial. I had to venture out since South Sea closed their doors. I'll definitely be ordering from here again. Well Done! Great first impression and have no qualms uodating review if that changes. Thanks East Place.. my meal was wonderful! Looking forward to the leftovers now :)

On this day I met my cousin at this Chinese Food Restaurant, it was recommended by her as her and her family frequents it on a regular basis. We had made plans to go somewhere else, but it was packed, so we ended up here. Very quiet and comfortable atmosphere, we dined inside, the waitress greeted us upon arriving and offered us a comfortable padded booth. We don’t eat that much, but we ordered a Dinner for 2 on the menu. The food came promptly to our table, 2 egg rolls it’s plum sauce, and 3 huge platters, (1) of BBQ pork fried rice (1) of Garlic Dry Ribs and finally a platter of mixed veggies (broccoli, onions,carrots, mushrooms, celery and mini corns). All nice and hot. Needless to say, we couldn’t eat it all, didn’t even put a dent in it. Waitress was more then accommodating and issued us 2 styrofoam containers to take home. We evenly split the rest up between us, and both had plenty to take home, we had 2 ice teas for beverages. After finishing our meal, waitresses was kind and told us there was no hurry. So we must have sat there a good 45 minutes to an hour or more catching up on our families. I personally don’t live in this area (Centennial Pwky), but if ever in this area and I’m in the mood for some Chinese Food, I’d have no hesitation in returning. Excellent food-Had no complaints here.

Typical generic north-americanized Chinese food. No better or worse than 90% of the Chinese food restaurants in the city. I am rather shocked by the five star reviews though. These people must think McDonald's is upscale fine dining ....

Stopped in for hot and sour soup and fried wonton chips. The order quickly arrived to my secluded booth while I was totally lost in my surroundings, which appeared to have been untouched by the passing of time. The decor is heavy and warm from the red carpet to the gold wallpaper and despite being nearly 40 years old has kept surprisingly well. I was the only patron seated in the large dining area, but a steady stream of takeout orders moved in and out of the lobby. Other than the constant ringing of the telephone, the place was filled with smooth Asian instrumentals and the humming of the lights overhead. The food was very authentic and thoroughly delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good Chinese food and to time travellers looking for a place to quietly reflect on the past.

Better than expected or based on what I read via Google reviews. Was in the Hamilton area and was craving Chinese cuisine for late dinner ... East Place wasn't my first choice but I'm glad it was my second choice! My first choice restaurant was closing in 30 minutes (9pm), so we went here. Reviews were so so, so I was skeptical at first ... BUT the food we ordered was FANTASTIC! Ordered (1) Cantonese Chow Mein, (2) Beef with Onions, (3) General Tao Chicken, and (4) plain rice. All ordered items arrived quickly and were tasty, no complaints. The interior decor is very much themed like a Chinese restaurant. Affordable pricing. Thanks for the great meal!

Waste of money. 2 pieces of rib that are 98% bone. Majority of the meal bean sprout with 2 pieces of chicken. Waste of money.
