Over the years, my family has purchased a number of wonderfully finished items from Mike, and my new computer desk does not disappoint. I am so pleased with the finished product, craftsmanship is incredible and the overall experience was stress-free.Mike had a large selection of wood to choose from and helped us narrow it down to this beautiful maple slab. Working with us to choose the best length and width, and even guided us with recommendations for durable (and affordable) table legs. He went the extra mile by taking the time to check in with me throughout the finishing process, allowing me to select which side of the slab I wanted for the top of the desk. I am thrilled by the beautiful Elm he turned into an office desk for me. I love it so much that I've asked for a Coffee table to be completed as well. Highly recommend!

The quality of the material is quite low, and the cost is very high. I'm not sure how he gets away saying he's cheaper than others. I found it quite a bit cheaper elsewhere. The material I was looking at was still too wet to be used for indoor uses.

It is not often in todays rush rush world to find an company and person like Mike at Old Schoolhouse Mills. He is a professional and has extensive knowledge that he is willing to share. The selection of high quality wood blew my mind and I could not leave without grabbing a few large pieces. Looking forward to doing lots of business as a develop my skills.

I've owned Plank To Table Design Inc, a Live Edge table company for years and have been doing woodworking for over 25 years. I was short a few pieces for a clients table and Mike was able to come up with some nice kiln dried slabs that my clients loved! There's a whole science into drying wood and Mike's got it down to an art. His prices are good, he has good selection and is a really nice guy. I would recommend Old Schoolhouse Mill to anyone seeking beautiful live edge slabs!

I love my new kitchen table! Mike has an amazing selection of wood! Bought two pieces of walnut and had them built into a table by my husband. Great customer service, professional and very timely with answering his emails. Will definitely be visiting the old schoolhouse mill for our next project :)

I can’t believe how great the customer service was at old school house mill. Mike was such a pleasure to speak with and truly passionate about woodworking. He had plenty of knowledge of the slabs and what to do with them. The slabs of wood he has are quality and dried properly. Even better are the tables he builds. 10/10 will be back again.
