I have 2 dogs – As of today, I no longer go here and would recommend that folks seek new services as well considering the lack of care, attention and profit driven motives I've noticed while visiting this organization with my pups. I don’t have a ton of time to review, but I figure it’s very important I get an opinion out as I just got back from finally visiting another vets office. For example, from November 2022 to January 2023 I visited their vets office at least 4 times with my 1 year old dog and the treatment and service was horrible, but cost a fair bit. So again, as someone who has had multiple dogs over the course of a long while, I would seriously consider looking anywhere else.In my experience, my pup had an ear infection, and throughout this entire time the team at the Orleans Vet Clinic was unable to diagnose or treat it adequately. This resulted in me spending over $1000.00 on needless consults, tests, and treatment which did absolutely nothing. After visiting another vet, the issue was solved immediately, and turns out - IT WASN'T EVEN THE INTERNAL YEAST-BASED EAR INFECTION THAT ORLEANS VET CLINC KEPT CHARGING ME TO TEST AND TREAT! Instead, it was an external bacterial infection - This means that the vets at the Orleans Vet Clinic did such a poor initial visual assessment of my dog and her issue that they did not even understand the nature of her infection, or even its location. To make matters worse, during this period one of my dogs also experienced an relatively serious injury which required stiches to treat. I live beside the Orleans Vet Clinic and called them immediately to ask how soon they could see my dog, as they were my main vet practitioner, and the closest establishment who could help the issue. Instead, even though it was before noon when I called and less urgent appointments could have been easily rescheduled, I was directed to the Lola Specialty Animal Emergency Hospital and was charged nearly double what my usual consult fee would be, and contributed needlessly to a stressed emergency animal care crisis in this city.I'd like to focus on this point for a moment, as I was the last patient accepted at Lola that night, and other dogs that had been hit by cars or with more serious injury were directed to Kingston and Montreal for treatment while my dog was undergoing operation, because the Orleans Vet Clinic was unwilling to take 15 minutes to clean it and put a few staples in her.So what's this to say - you want a booster for your pets vaccine, or to bring your dog to a pet spa? Then sure maybe the Orleans vet clinic can help you out, but they've absolutely failed me on the diagnosis and treatment end of things. I now drive over 30 minutes to a rural vet, instead of walking to the vets office.I've spoken to the management at this establishments about my concerns, and I can tell you that they were not exactly adequately addressed. I've had dogs my whole life, my mother bred newfoundlands and I've helped folks around the city with liters of their own. I've never experienced such poor treatment, at such a high cost.In all honesty, I'm so discouraged by the service I received I would hesitate to call them a credible vets office after this experience, and would suggest anyone seek services literally anywhere else if they're hoping for better service at a lower cost.

I can’t even begin to explain how upset I am with this veterinary hospital. We’ve been going here for approximately 4 years for our dog. Upon our last visit, he was administered a vaccine (fairly standard) and had his nails clipped by the vet spa. An employee stated that they couldn’t complete the clipping as he was fussy and uncomfortable. When we arrived home, we noticed a limp in his walk. It got progressively worse, to the point where the next day he couldn’t walk at all on his hind leg. I don’t know who handled my dog with his nail clipping, but I am so disappointed that they didn’t handle it correctly, resulting in triggering his joint issues. He was perfectly fine when we visited for his appointment, lively and energetic and able to stand on all four legs with no problem at all. They are aware of his health issues, it’s in his file. I understand if he was being fussy, but I’m not in the room with him when his nails are being clipped. How can I be confident in their care if he’s now injured? We revisited the clinic for a follow up, in which the doctor informed us that some dogs are administered medication to help calm them down when their nails are clipped. How come we weren’t informed of such alternative options? How can they be so negligent with an animal’s health when all of his known ailments are in his chart? Each patient is unique in the type of care and accommodation they need, and unfortunately my dog had to pay the price for someone not caring about his needs.

Easily the best vet experience I have ever had, the staff are super polite, more then helpful and experienced. I was with Dr. Guzman and he was clear, direct and precise with his diagnoses and care plan, explained the prescription perfectly and followed up with information packets in an email.Worth the commute across the city for me. 10/10. If you are in Orleans, make this your vet.Thank you all so much!

I don’t understand why I cannot get any advice from any one at this vet for guidance on a dog that is just visiting for a few weeks that is throwing up when he eats his food. I just spent over 200$ on food and treats and asked a simple question and basically I was told that I had to make a file and appointment to see a vet and that was the only option. The woman ringing up the purchase just looked away when I told her the situation and the guy sitting next to her just looked forward. I was totally ignored. Honestly it’s all about money…

They take such good care of my pup and make every effort to limit the stress on him using all kinds of yummy treats (he sometimes comes out with his mouth covered in doggie Cheez Whiz, haha!). All of our experiences with them have been amazing, as is their staff. We’ve dealt with Dr. Gold, Dr. Streib, and Dr. Kerr and all have been great, catching an unexpected blood condition before surgery and making sure we were well informed of all options to proceed. They’ve also called to check in on him after taking him to an emergency vet - so sweet! Have never been in the clinic due to COVID protocols, but drop off is so easy with their efficient system.

My cat suddenly developed a mass in her mouth so I took her to the Orleans Veterinary Hospital. After some tests were done, she had to have surgery to remove the mass. I cannot thank Dr. Mary Kinch enough for all that she has done for my cat. The surgery went well and Dr. Kinch's love of animals definitely shows when she's with your pet. I have been to a few vets over the years and she was by far the best I have ever seen.

Really nice mindfully people. The veterinarian was really sweet and listened to everything I had to say. Gave me good advices and a paper resume of our discussion. The office lady was also very sweet and offered me to bring my dog (in his cage) to my car because I was pregnant. I totally recommend this place! They will take good care of your pet :)
