Sweet E's Pastries and Sweets

Amazing pastries! They weren't too sweet and the flavours were amazing. I loved how there was a variety of different types, and some quite unique. The sesame mousse was great, well balanced with the chocolate. Carrot cake was amazing, soft and fluffy. The cream cheese icing was not heavy and subtle enough the carrot cake remains the focus. Tarts are also wonderful.Cheesecakes are fluffy and light.Thank you for the wonderful dessert!

The pastries are so amazing. The staff are very kind and friendly and they support the community in so many ways. I had their raspberry cake and it was to die for. I can't say enough about this little neighbourhood GEM.

Amazing pavlova! Always fully topped with the season's fresh fruit and berries. Kathleen is great to deal with and she and her team came through in putting my order through before the weekend. Thank you!

I get a pavlova from this store almost every summer (other than the covid years). I'm glad to see that their quality has not changed. I just wish they did pavlovas throughout the year.

This shop is a hidden gem in the Kerrisdale village. If you try their mini cheese cakes, you will return to buy again every weekend.The shop has a small store front area and you can immediately see their signature mini cakes in the display area. This shop only opens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for walk in customers. They accept online order to pick up during weekdays.The mini cheese cakes has a rich favour of cheese. You will want to finish one cake in one bite of two. Personally I think their cakes are the perfect match with tea or Americano. Tibia good to buy more pieces to share with friends or family members.

I am incredibly hard to please when it comes to commercial baked goods. I've learned to go into an encounter with commercial tarts and cakes with low expectations so that I'm not too badly disappointed when it comes time to eat them.Usually, I don't even bother, but I was intrigued by the extremely small tarts that I could see through the window of Sweet E's and thought that I should treat myself with a tart for later.I bought a bourbon pecan tart and a blueberry lime curd tart and was blown away by how perfect they were. Not only were they small and adorable(the blueberries had a charming sparkling glaze), but they were each delicious. The shortcrust was light and buttery, so thin and crisp that it was never in danger of overpowering the tart's flavour. The bourbon pecan filling had toasty pecans in a sugar sauce that was perfectly sweet and salty with just a trace of bourbon. The lime curd in the other tart was exquisite: citrusy, aromatic, sour and sweet at the same time, like a proper curd should be and so unlike citrus curd often is. The blueberries were in season, which was my primary reason for choosing the tart, so they were sweet and juicy and complemented the curd perfectly.After all that, and having at first been taken in by how small and quaint they were, I definitely wished they had been larger! I'll definitely be back for more, as I'm keen to sample the other desserts Sweet E's makes in the hope that they'll be as wonderful as the tarts.

Everything is lovingly created and tasty although they don’t have a huge selection of cakes and baked goodies.The carrot cake is moist but light, it’s so good I can finish the whole cake by myself. Love the way their cakes are decorated in simple but elegant style. I have to have at least a dozen cookies every time I stop by at the shop. Great deal when you buy by dozen. They have several varieties of cookies that are delicious combination of flavours and texture.

Bright and fun, the cakes and tarts are super tasty, and such a crowd pleaser! Their apple pie cookies are super tasty I always pick at least one up when I see them. All in all a great hidden gem in Vancouver

This is one of the best bakeries in the Kerrisdale area! The Sweet E' sisters are super friendly and they keep their store immaculate looking and well stocked. Well kept and managed for sure!I ordered a pavlova- which is a seasonal item from July - Aug and it was my first time ever trying a pavlova. I ordered it because my friend really wanted one, so I thought to come to Sweet E's and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint. This is one of my new favorite items and will definitely be ordering more.They also have this apple cinnamon muffin which is amazing!! If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to go!RUN... don't walk to this sweet gem in Kerrisdale!!!!
