Studio 4 Athletics

I want to start off by saying how much I liked the people in the gym. Both those that worked there (for the most part), and the people I met. The layout is great, the boxing room is small but functional, and the atmosphere was very community oriented.I would have loved to give Studio 4 five stars, but after my experience leaving, I have to give it two. I would like to first point out in their month to month rental, there is a claim that it is has a Flexible Freeze or Cancel Policy".This is simply not true. They say you only need to give 30 days notice

The very best gym in the Victoria area, without question. It is beautiful, clean, spacious... never overcrowded (meaning you do not usually have to wait to use equipment etc, unlike the large chain gyms in town who notoriously oversell memberships). There is no pushy “cult” vibe here. The owners, staff, and trainers are beyond knowledgeable and friendly, and are always willing to help. This gym has a great feel and atmosphere, and offers something for everyone - boxing/kickboxing, group fitness, 1:1 PT with a variety of skilled trainers, CrossFit, dance, and more. The equipment and machines are of the highest quality, up-to-date, and in exceptional shape. Highly recommend Studio 4 to anyone!

This place is literally my second home!! From day one, the staff have always been so welcoming and friendly, they truly are my 'fit fam'!! The space is always clean and well-kept, people respect each other, and the team creates an environment that is welcoming of all ages and abilities. I love the diversity that this gym offers and the family-like atmosphere - it is just good vibes all around! Hands down the best gym I've ever been to!

Great gym... but read the fine print of your membership contact! Moving away from town took several expensive months of auto-payments to eventually pause, then extra months to break contract. I live seasonally in Victoria so their membership system is poorly set up for anyone but full-time residents. Too bad, it's a nice gym but I'll probably go somewhere else during my next trip to Victoria.

I love coming to work here every day, I'm stoked to have found such an awesome place to train and coach. The staff and owners are fantastic humans and professionals. Very clean, and there's f@$&ing towel service! Come check it out!

One of the best gyms I’ve ever been to! Lots of equipment and it’s priced pretty competitively with comparable gyms. Only reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is because of one staff member. Let me be clear, every staff member up until this one has been super nice and very helpful. However I don’t know how this one staff member got hired, because she is frankly rude and standoffish. Whenever I scan in I’ll usually say “hello” or something, and they just look up without a word and immediately go back to the computer/phone. Just rubs me the wrong way and seems pretty unprofessional/rude. Thankfully she only works weekend evenings it seems.

Nice gym, friendly staff located in the heart of downtown! Never very super crowded even during rush hour. Love all the plants in the yoga and dance room!

Such a great vibe. Brick walls. Fantastic lighting. Lots of plants. Nice equipment. Friendly community atmosphere.Been working out over 10 years been to over 50 gyms. This is easily one of, if not, the nicest gyms I’ve ever belonged to.

Studio 4 is one of the most beautiful gyms I've ever been to! The staff are friendly and helpful and the owners are a delight. If you like taking videos/pictures during your workouts, you'll love this gym because it's so photogenic with all the plants and natural light. 10/10 recommend.

Honestly, this gym is pretty great. Decent amount of equipment but the best part is it's in a nice brick buildings, lots of planets and natural light and everyone is pretty friendly. The only downside is that the music is often terrible. Like I get that most people have headphones on but still, the majority of staff play stuff that is more suited to a BBQ or being at the beach. It can be a buzzkill if you forget your headphones.
