Nice to see places like this adding electric charging stations, nice creek running by it, well maintained lawns and has picnic tables.

Has clean bathrooms (at least at time of writing), has a picnic area, short trails to walk your pet, and a creek flowing through where you could get some water.

Nice washrooms. His and hers, wheelchair friendly. Have picknick tables and trees for some shade, Creek runs near by. Lots of parking for all, room for semi trucks and motorhomes.

Kid Creek Rest Area
Love to stop at this rest area even if I don’t need a rest. The river is gentle and the rocks are so fun to climb on. The washrooms are not super clean but they are spacious. This is a popular rest area.

Kid Creek Rest Area
Rest stop open year round with heated washrooms (as opposed to just pit toilets). A couple garbage cans and picnic tables as well as a few walking trails to let yourself and your pooch stretch your legs. No tractor-trailers permitted, but ample room to enter this rest area with an RV since the road into the rest area is one big loop so no need to back-up to leave. Water is not potable, but our pooch has never had a problem drinking it

Kid Creek Rest Area
As a weary traveller, you may be tempted to rest your loins, here. But make no mistake, my trusty companion, there are horrors that man dare not speak of, here. The creek itself is named after a creature of legends. It has been said that there is a half man, half goat, half deer creature lurking near the banks of Kid creek. I'm talking, of course, about Manbearpig. I'm super cereal. Bathroom is not too bad. Toilets flush.
