My daughter and I both tried Karma today for the first time. It was a wonderful experience! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. My daughter (6yo) wanted a cut that was tricky for her hair type and Kamlyn did an incredible job making it work with her hair and chatting with her and making her feel super special. Kayla did a dry curly cut on my hair and I'm so happy with the cut and all the tips I received. We'll definitely be back!

I started going to Karma when I moved to Thunder Bay because it seemed to be one of the few salons in town to specialize in curly hair. So far, all of my cuts have been pretty good. What really sets this salon apart though, in my experience, is how nice and accommodating Kayla is! She was really helpful when I needed my hair done for a work event and always seems to remember details about my life, even though she must see over 50 clients a week. The only thing I wish is that their location was closer to either of the downtowns so I could shop around before/after appointments, but it's still on a main bus route which is nice.

I went to get my hair done by Tonia who was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. Tonia was fantastic - extremely personable and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about my hair and how it holds colour (after close to 20 years of colouring my hair!). I bought products that agreed with my hair - which were not pushed on me at all. I also love the ease of making an appointment and the small boutique feel. I have been 3 times and will definitely continue going!

Riley fit me in last minute and did an amazing job colouring and cutting my hair. She also recommended some products to me that make my hair feel great. Overall an amazing experience and will be going back to see her!
