Two weeks ago we picked up a really stinky pup that was rescued from a puppy mill in Kentucky. He was so scared and a mess. This condition had nothing to do with Tiny Paws. He was as he had lived.Today after 2 weeks Bo has accepted his new family, wants and gives his love through licks and trusts his new Mom and Dad. Our 7 year old rescue Doodle has become his mentor and best friend. The people involved with this rescue family are Fantastic people. Vicki and her team do a fantastic job of bringing a new life to these little creatures one family at a time. HIGHLY recommend this organization.

A very caring organization rescuing dogs from puppy mills, owner releases, strays and over crowded shelters and finding them loving homes.

I rescued two dogs from this organization ten years ago. I'm rather surprised that this organization still exists. Hope their practice has improved. I rescued all of my dogs from various organizations, but this organization did not give me an impression that they are doing what they do for dogs' welfare, but rather doing for money. Two dogs I rescued from them had serious issues; one had a issue of biting and lunging at people including kids, and the other had a severe separation anxiety which was so severe that she would destroy and eat up our door frames and window frames. Even when she was crated, she would somehow get out of the crate even if the escape attempt injured her. None of these were disclosed when we rescued them. I immediately contacted foster moms and they said they never noticed these issues because they never walked these dogs on the streets or they never left dogs alone. The following six months to twelve months, I spent much time, effort, and money by hiring trainers. However, this biting never went away, but he bit one of my daughters' friend's face one day. The foster mom I contacted was not understanding, but truly reluctant to take him back. The other foster mom never answered to my communication attempts. The organization should fully examine the characteristics of dogs - behavior when walking on the streets, or left alone, with kids, etc. Their assessment was untruthful or incomplete. Also, they should be corporative to take back dogs who had such severe issues. It was the hardest and saddest thing for me to give them up. The rescue in almost all cases end up in happy tales. But in some cases, they don't. And dealing with this organization was a nightmare.
