Enlightened Dog Training

Our 12 month old lab has spent most of her life in isolation with two retired humans on a rural property. During the 5 days that Jesse lived with us he helped all of us to better understand and use the power of the peaceful alpha. Henna’s response to commands and social manners have improved significantly. As we complete the daily exercises Jesse left with us our confidence grows and we see our hyper excitable young dog learn to calm herself and make good behaviour choices. Thank you Jesse.

We serendipitously found Jesse’s online training and coaching program soon after we realized the need for an evolved training approach for our two rescue pointers, aged 3 and 12 yrs. We’ve been working, virtually, with Jesse, for about a month. Each session starts with our wins and then we work through our misses where Jesse develops customized lessons for our homework. Our family is forever grateful to Jesse for the help and training he has provided to us. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for thoughtful dog training. Jesse’s approach to training our 1.5 year old Sheepadoodle was truly enlightening for both our dog and our family. We have been struggling with the heights of excitement our dog has when people, even our family, enter our home. From the 1st minute Jesse entered our home, he was able to begin showing us through example how to tackle the problem we have been experiencing. Broccoli and Jesse had an instant rapport from the moment they met and he is teaching us how to have that kind of connection too. Learning how our emotions affect our dog has been a real eye opener. Jesse’s dog training is nothing short of amazing. Within the first two weeks of training, the relationship between myself and my dog changed dramatically—to the point where people were saying he was a completely different dog than before. Walking him is so much easier and he was amazing at the last vet visit. I can’t recommend Jesse enough. I have real hope that our dog will be socialized and I will have a great grasp of what is needed to be a great dog mom.

Jesse is a phenomenal trainer. After just one session with our 3 month old puppy, Reggie, he was transformed before our eyes! In that first session, he taught Reggie (and us) the key commands that have stayed with us since. He also shared some invaluable insights and tricks that have completely changed how we relate to and connect with our dog, and that have made our life with Reggie a whole lot easier. Jesse has been instrumental in our journey as pet owners and I can’t recommend his services and his work enough. Truly game changing!

We were so lucky to find Jesse. I was amazed by his demonstration and approach with dogs. It helped us tremendously and most probably his presence at our house will shape bond with our sweethearts one can only dream on. From jumping, anxious dogs during feeding they became such a delightful buddies and we were able to turn whole feeding session with lots of fun for whole family just during one day. After 3 weeks I was having little doubts if we made right choice getting 2 puppies large working dog breed to be honest. But after Jesse's visit all of our doubts disappeared. My 9 1/2 year-old Bouvier had issues behaving around other dogs. He would bark at most dogs on the street and, due to his size (130 lbs), he would come across as scary to some people. At some point, I stopped going to dog parks and was always very anxious during our walks together — which obviously didn’t help because dogs can definitely sense when their humans are nervous. Then I had the chance to learn from Jesse’s energy and explanations, which really made sense. Jesse has a unique approach to dealing with dogs who may be expressing anxiety through negative and sometimes aggressive behaviour. I was skeptical in the beginning, but decided to follow Jesse’s easy-to-follow instructions and soon I began to see a transformation in my dog’s behaviour. I’ve realized that my dog responds to my own state of mind, so, thanks to Jesse’s instructions, I’ve been monitoring my approach when other dogs are heading in our direction. I now understand that, if I am calm and relaxed, my dog will be the same around other dogs. I’m so appreciative of Jesse’s lessons and I cannot recommend his course more emphatically. Amazingly valuable! And he is a remarkable human being with lots of love and full of contagiously great energy. Jessie is a keeper!

After just one hour with Jesse, our 4.5 year old rescued Norfolk Terrier mix, Bella, was a different dog. Bella’s leash manners drastically improved and her aggression disappeared. We can now take pleasant strolls in the park and not have to worry about her attacking other dogs.Thank you for this miracle, Jesse!
