MAXgreen Windows, Siding and Roofing

The window experience was great from start to finish. The project coordinator was knowledgeable and helpful when choosing and ordering windows, and answering questions. Everything happened efficiently and on time from start to finish of the project. Our installation team was courteous, experienced, and great to work with. The installation work was very well done with a quick turnaround. It was an overall great experience!

Over the years we have used three very reputable window companies to replace our windows. I would recommend MAXgreen above any of them. Their level of service is beyond compare: very prompt and attentive. Windows were installed on schedule, in -16 degree weather! We had a couple small deficiencies that were resolved quickly, and all staff were polite and respectful throughout the entire process. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable windows vendor.

My experience with MAXgreen went smoothly from beginning to end. Three beautiful windows now grace the east wall of our sunroom. The finishing is excellent (especially compared to the homespun job I did myself forty years ago). Everything was left in perfect order. The technicians were efficient and friendly. Dan even complimented me on my shoes which are the same as his! I certainly recommend MAX for its service and its products.

I had MAXGreen install new siding and doors, and overall it was a good experience (3.5/5 stars). Only complaint I really have has to do with the customer service from one of the associates after the projects were [mostly] completed.The sales rep. I dealt with was friendly and very patient with me, as I asked a LOT of questions and had multiple quotes done! He was also very accommodating, dropping off colour samples as needed, and responded to emails quite quickly.The siding installers were very friendly, seemed knowledgeable, and appeared to do a good job. A different associate also came out to inspect their work afterward, which I liked. This associate also made himself available to answer any questions.The door installers were relatively friendly and (to my knowledge) did an adequate job, although I believe one of the doors had to be realigned soon after it was installed.. I was also asked if I wanted the locks keyed the same for both doors and said yes, but there was an issue that day with doing so. Another associate came out shortly after to look over a few things, but refused to rekey the locks at that point (not a huge deal, but it was initially offered).As a family member attended the last appointment, I tried reaching out to the associate who had met with her in order to clarify some things he had told her.. Over the first week I tried texting and calling a few times, with no response. At some point I did reach out to the sales rep. since I wasn't receiving any response from the aforementioned associate, and at that point I was contacted (but could not take the call)... I then tried for another week or so to get in touch with the aforementioned associate, including via email, with no response. Once more, I reached out to the sales rep., who then told me that he had been told that the aforementioned associate had tried contacting me multiple times, which had *not* happened. Finally, the associate reached out and we spoke on the phone (but he never offered an apology for the above).At this point, I inquired about having the skirting done on my home, as the sales rep. had told me to ask this associate if he thought it would be possible. (We had also discussed doing the skirting at my initial meeting for the siding, at which time I had been told MAXGreen does skirting).The associate told me on the phone that he *didn't* see why MAXGreen *couldn't* do the skirting, and he was going to speak with the sales rep. about it. Not too long after (minutes to hours) I received an email from the sales rep. stating that he had been told by the associate that he didn't think they could do the skirting and that I would have to find a different company.The above created an unpleasant experience.. However, soon after I was in communication with the CEO who was very understanding and worked to resolve any issues right away, which was great to see.""

I had MAXgreen replace some rotten leaky windows 8 years ago. The quality of the windows and work is excellent and they look/function the same today as they did when they were installed. When we decided to replace all the remaining windows and some exterior doors this year they were an easy choice.Just like before, communication has been clear, all the installers have arrived on time, been friendly and clean. Quality of work is excellent and we appreciated the follow-ups to ensure everything was completed to their high standards. Definitely recommend!

This was our second experience using Max-Green as we had them install new doors previously and we were so happy with the experience we reached out to discuss replacing our original windows.We had quotes on our windows before by other companies but as they are installed behind the stucco, a lot of the quotes came back with excessive costs on additional stucco work so we were originally deterred from replacing them. Whilst Max-Green was installing our doors, I chatted with the installer who said that a lot of that stucco work wouldn't be needed except in areas where there was decorative stone or the window had a sill built out of stucco.We decided to go ahead and replace all of the windows except the few that would require stucco work (as that would need to wait until Spring).The service and communication from Max-Green during all steps from the original consult to the final install was exceptional. We ended up having one defect window that needed the glass replaced and a few screens had not showed up with the original install. Max-Green promptly had the new glass and remaining screens ordered and scheduled a date for install as soon as they could. They even did a hold back on the final payment until the entire job was complete without us requesting it. That may not sound like much but we are currently doing a full renovation and it amazes me that other companies expect full payment up front regardless of defects... So kudo's to Max-Green for standing behind their quality.I did see some reviews prior to us moving forward on Ply Gem windows. Some people complained of quality and ice building up on windows but primarily it was lack of communication and service from Ply Gem. Our consultant and I discussed this and he said for the quality issues, unfortunately some people choose to move forward with the most cost effective windows and while they perform well in cold temperatures, in -20 to -40 you will see ice build up and moisture. Especially if they have window coverings over them. We went with the triple paned top of the line windows and I can truly say I have never been as amazed with a product as we are with these windows. Even with 4 out of 14 windows still needing to be done, our furnace was barely running during the current cold snap of -25 to -40. As for ice build up, I'll attach pictures showing the new windows compared to our original contractor windows. It's currently feels like -40" and there is barely any ice building up in the corners of the glass. And that is only because we had blackout curtains closed while we slept. Compare that to the two pictures of our old windows...... Again

Full disclosure: I didn't use these guys for work, but I recently needed a quote done for some work and these guys handled it really well and I want to let people know that. I have a unique situation, and most other companies were outright rejecting my job without any real explanation or help. They would, quite tersely, tell me that they can't do it. I wasn't sure what to do. Rick from Max Green (Calgary, Alberta) took a look at my job, and instead of just rejecting me, he took the time to explain why I was getting that reaction, and who I could call instead. It was a very helpful conversation right at a point when I was starting to feel frustrated and confused with the experience overall. Turns out I needed to know the difference between glass and window replacement but nobody else had explained this to me (I'm a relatively new first time home owner so this was news to me). Just based on the quote experience, I would certainly turn to these guys again if I had a window replacement job.

We had excellent customer service with this company and are very happy with the product. We only ordered one window, which we installed ourselves, so it wasn't much of a money maker for MAXgreen. Several window companies we contacted didn't even get back to us or quoted us an exorbitant price. This company treated us with integrity and respect.

Max Green was very timely and provided top quality work when replacing our basement windows. They arrived on time, were very respectful of our home, answered all our questions, and left the work area clean! I would recommend for any window replacements.
