My experience is related to the care of my husband so that I could have a break from the 24/7 care I have been doing for a long time. I was able to get away for two weeks to spend time with my son and his young family. The team from Just Like Family Home Care, supervised by Sheba, was exceptional. I remained in contact with my husband almost daily and was able to talk to the caregivers each time. They introduced themselves to me and I could see that my husband was taken care of very well. Mom spent her days by herself and was rather withdrawn from life, so in December we contacted Just Like Family Home Care. Karen put us all at ease when she came to our home to meet us. Although mom was hesitant at first and not sure what to expect, she agreed to give a companion a try. After her first meeting with Joy, the Companion Karen paired with Mom, Mom was hooked. Between Karen and Joy, Mom has started to live life again, she looks forward to her weekly visit with Joy very much and really enjoys spending time with her. Over and above that Karen has provided our family with help in navigating the senior world and put us in touch with people who can help us to navigate through all of the things that involve living as a Senior in Calgary, which is helping us to make important decisions and to help ourselves and Mom to live a more fulfilled life. Karen is truly passionate about what she does and it shows in how she stops at nothing to help a family. This has made such a difference to us! The full service that Just Like Family provides is Phenomenal and invaluable!! I cannot recommend them enough!!

My mom got very sick very quickly and I’m so glad I found Just Like Family. Last minute they were able to pair us with care givers who were absolutely amazing. They really helped us get through a difficult time, and the care givers touched base with me regularly which was very informative and appreciated. Their service agreement also allowed us the flexibility to canceled after 24 hours when we no longer needed the service. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat.
