Serendipity Day Spa on Durham

First time visiting Serendipity Day Spa. Showed up early in the day. The staff was very kind and upbeat. Atmosphere of the spa was great. Went for a 1 hour relaxing massage. The massage was unsatisfactory to say the least. First the masseuse smelled of cigarettes. Second I repeated multiple times to increase the pressure to know avail. Felt like she wasn't present, merely just going through the motion with very little effort. Later I discovered through their site that this person specializes in waxing, lashes, skin bleaching nothing mentioning massage therapist. Better buisness practice would be provide a RMT for your clients who are looking for a massage. After spending $111 for would should have been a relaxing treat and highlight of my day turned into a waste of my time, money and energy.

I had a bikini wax with Kalene and I was a bit apprehensive going in. I made a joke about how it was going to be awkward and she dismissed it and her mannerisms put me totally at ease. I made bad jokes and she had the grace to laugh at them, she in turn made actual jokes that I laughed at. Mostly her 'not big deal' attitude made it as enjoyable as *that* experience can be. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I will 100% book her again. #chewbaccaisnowanewokI also had eyelash extensions with Christina. The atmosphere was so calm, I actually dozed a bit. She was VERY PATIENT with me as at first I was twitchy and itchy. She was accommodating when I asked to look like I had eyelashes without the trendy monster eyelashes. They look great and I will be back to visit her as well.

Just had the most relaxing bacial from Kalene - 10/10 would recommend! Even the music was lovely. Definitely leaving feeling far more rested then when I arrived <3

BEST. SPA. IN. TOWN!! I cannot stress this enough!!! I've been going here for years and every time I leave I leave feeling soapy and excited to return. Their food and drinks are phenomenal as well. HIGHLY recommend!

Monique is great. So knowledgeable, answers all my questions in regards to treatments. They have a Relaxing atmosphere. You Never feel rushed. A wonderful place to go!

Loving coming here. Prices are fair with frequent sales happening. It’s a beautiful space and welcoming staff. I have had nothing but good experiences there and the owner goes above and beyond to provide services and little gifts to her clients!

Best spa in Sudbury! All the girls here are absolutely amazing & will take the best care of you! They also have a cafe called Nourish in the spa which is such a vibe and has amazing food. Absolutely obsessed with this place. Go to Kalene for the best Brazilian in Sudbury! I’ve had many and she is hands down the best of the best. No hairs left behind and such a personable experience. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone!

This is my second service and I was extremely satisfied with my crystal facial with Emily! She is super gentle and the nicest person. She goes above and beyond to make her clients feel comfortable and always asks if there’s any concerns. It’s always a relaxing atmosphere and will be going back to her. This spa is incredible. The ambiance is top shelf. They have little snack in the waiting area. The staff is so very welcoming. They offer a wide range of services. My favourite spa to go to. Highly recommend
