Government House

Went with a group of about 10 people, some of whom were in wheelchairs. Everything was wheelchair accessible on all 3 floors. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and we were unable to stump her with any of our questions. It's well taken care of. Very beautiful!

It's a beautiful/historic building and admission is free with optional guided tour. Although I enjoyed going through the rooms, it was distracting because the tour guide and a security guard followed me around everywhere (even though I asked for a self-guided tour).I was the only visitor at the time and they followed me up the stairs as soon as I went to see the second level - and I could see them reposition themselves to keep me in view when I'd go to look at something out of their sight. It felt super weird. They made conversation with each other which I could hear, and I think I unwittingly paid more attention to that than the actual exhibits.I wouldn't say they were unfriendly necessarily, and I get they were just doing their jobs (all museums keep an eye on visitors).. but it was very unnerving and I couldn't fully enjoy my visit. I think if I wasn't the only visitor it wouldn't have been so obvious they were following me around.

Fantastic tour and the gardens are beautiful. Stroller friendly and the play room was great for my baby.

I would highly recommend a visit to Government house for any of their events. We had gone on for Coffee at the conservatory" and was delighted by three experience.The staff is very courteous and the experience is really good. The venue is set up really well. Highly recommend."

We were the only visitors at the time. Very informative and interesting to know what the house was all used for. Thanks to the many citizens of Regina that made sure the house was Brack to the original status and not demolished

It was empty and quiet when our family visited, but it's interesting place for anyone that likes to know what the Government House was all used for, and history behind it.

Her performance was not only enjoyable but also provided a unique perspective on the region's history.Overall, our experience was a delightful blend of entertainment and education, leaving us with lasting memories of this remarkable place.
