Originally told that it would be 6 days before a tech came to my house to repair, phone, internet and TV service. This was unacceptable to me, so I phoned the business office, using a borrowed cell phone, and escalated my complaint. 2 1/2 days after my outage, I was back on line.Squeaky wheal got the oil, but the service should have been much faster right from the beginning and I shouldn't have had to escalate it.

I've had nothing but good from Eastlink. I'm not sure why people have negative bombed their reviews. Fast speeds, competitive pricing. Great upgrade great offerings to my area. The competition cannot match. I've never had any major down times, customer support is quite good.

Did you enjoy the time of Dial-up modems? Well lucky for you, their internet speeds and customer support will bring you back to the 90s. a 10gb video game takes so long to download, that it would be faster for me to drive to owen sound and download the game from my friends internet and drive back.Their download speeds are so laughable that it brings me back to when I used to torrent movies online.

The only reason I gave it one star was I couldn't give it less. What a horrible company. We have a cottage and for the last 2 months no internet repeatedly phoning telling them. We will send someone out when??? Take work off sure I have nothing better to do. Finally phoned again and said you can see I pay and have not used internet. So again we will send tech guy out someday and sometime you take work off...really again!! Then customer service hung up. When a provider comes to this area they will be out of business.

It would be nice if we actually got consistent internet service for $120/ month. Internet is constantly down, and when it does work it’s super slow. Don’t waste your money on this company if you can find another provider.

Eastlink is probably the worst company i have ever dealt with. I was supposed to have my cable hooked up and waited all day in their 8:30am-5pm, window and no one showed up. Apparently they had the wrong address. Not only that but the wrong province too (when I called to try and find out where my bill was). Customer service is also poor. Long wait times and I called there and asked to speak with a supervisor only to be put back in the customer service queue again. If I could use another service provider I would. I've had huge problems with this company. I'm not a complainer but this company has put me through a ton of stress.

The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because I can't give them a minus. Internet service is terrible. Very slow. Constantly stopping and loading". Constantly having to shut everything down and rebooting. I have been stuck with them for years but a new high speed provider will soon be available and I will be gone

AWFUL service.....I was on hold for 5 hrs yesterday waiting for customer service. Apparently chat" can't do what I need ! Now again this morning on hold for 1 hr 10 mins so far. I will definitely be checking out other options for my internet. (which by the way is always kicking me off !) Only 1 star because I "had" to put something in !"

Their technicians are really good, but there aren't nearly enough of them to provide acceptable service. From the time my internet went down until they can get it fixed - 16 days! That is simply unacceptable for an Intenet company yet that's the way Eastlink operates.

We have Eastlink because it is the only available internet. The system is constantly down. We have a wifi thermostat so if there is a power outage and it comes back on line we can check to see if the furnace re-starts. Trouble is when the power does come back on Eastlink internet does not come back on line. They tell us to drive up and reboot their modem. Kinda defeats the purpose of having their internet. Worst possible company I have ever had to deal with.
