Dentistry On Wellington

I recently had a concerning experience at Dentistryon Wellington where I received inadequate diagnosis and treatment. I visited the clinic to do a check up and they said that I should get fillings done on two teeth. Weirdly enough, I started to experience the pain after the filling for two months, making my daily life uncomfortable and inconvenient. When I re-visited the dentistry regarding the pain, his diagnosis was that there was no problem, or that it was related to my wisdom tooth.However, my discomfort persisted, and I sought a second opinion from another dentist. To my surprise, the other dentist discovered that the pain was actually coming from the tooth that had been previously filled which needed root canal. This misdiagnosis led to unnecessary delay in addressing the real issue, and I had to endure two months of ongoing pain and discomfort.As a patient, I expect that dental professionals will accurately diagnose and address dental problems. In this case, the misdiagnosis and failure to recognize that the pain was coming from the tooth that had been filled at the clinic has caused me significant inconvenience and discomfort. Needlessly to say, I am disappointed with the level of care and accuracy provided at this clinic.To other potential patients, I strongly advise not going to this dentistry since you might receive wrongfully diagnose as well.To the clinic, I urge you to take appropriate steps to review and improve the accuracy of diagnoses at your clinic to ensure that other patients do not face similar issues. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

Late review but I’d like to thank everyone who I’ve encountered at Dentistry on Wellington! The front staff are always so kind and energetic, from phone to check in, it’s always a pleasure to talk to them. Dr. Ali is a great dentist and easy to talk to, as well as the hygienists/assistants (I believe I saw Joanne the last time I was there). Lovely office!

Excellent dental experience, everyone is super professional and kind, from the moment you walk in until you finish your dental appointment. I appreciated the expertise and positivity, and very prompt responses to emails. Impressive!

From the moment you walk in, the staff are super friendly and very accommodating. The office is very clean and they go above and beyond to ensure everything is hygienic and safe. The equipment is top notch but you never feel pushed into doing anything unnecessary. They're very punctual too!

I started with Dentistry on Wellington after another dentist actually kept my mouth open with a clamp for so long that I had small tears in both corners of my mouth.I could tell when I told the story that Dr. Friedman was a bit skeptical. Was I going to be a problem patient? NO. I LOVE going to the dentist. I like to have a cleaning every 3 - 4 months. I LOVE pretty teeth - after all, you wear your face every day. More importantly, well cared for teeth and gums are critical to your health and wellbeing.I've been now going to Dentistry on Wellington for YEARS. Every staff member who's worked with me has been prompt, attentive, friendly and professional. They go over my xrays and checkups in detailed and don't push me to replace fillings unless they can show me it's truly warranted (like the other one did).Prompt appointments are so appreciated. The expanded location has been beautifully renovated and extreme care taken to ensure cleanliness and safety. There's even an air purifier in each treatment room.Highly recommended.

This review is long overdue - Dentistry on Wellington is hands down the best.Everyone who works there is so friendly and accommodating…shout out to Laura, Rayvine, Shelley and Teresa. I was referred to Dentistry on Wellington by a friend. My husband and I took our 5 year old after she was complaining of pain. We were worried she had a cavity or that her nightly tooth grinding was damaging her teeth. This was our daughters first time to the dentist and the staff did not make us feel bad at all. They were kind and comforting and patient with my daughter. The lecture I was anxious of never came. The doctor was very down to earth and laid back and told me he’s seen much worse. I appreciate the respect we all received and look forward to returning for my daughters teeth cleaning! I’m happy my 5 year old no longer has anxiety over going to the dentist because her first time went so well. Thanks so much!

Had a cleaning and whitening done at this office. highly recommend. Great staff, super nice and clean office and great results. Parking is also pretty convenient for downtown offices

I had one session with Dr. Thapar and two sessions with Dr. Tan, all of which were amazing. Not only did they make me feel comfortable throughout the procedure, but they also took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answer all of my questions. Despite my low pain tolerance, I didn't feel any discomfort or inconvenience during any of my sessions with either doctor. I also really appreciated the energy and friendly demeanour of the front desk employees, who made booking and cancelling appointments a breeze. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the care I received and would highly recommend both Dr. Tan and Dr. Thapar.
