Regina Police Service

On 31 July I was the victim of an assault. 9.1.1. was called and two officers arrived within minutes. Cst Oliver dealt with me while the other officer attended to other victims and witnesses. I would like to compliment the officers on their care and professionalism. I was contacted later in the day and advised of the outcome of the investigation.Thank you to both officers.A. Vance.

How do you feel safe in a city where your own police accidentally spike belt you on your birthday? The officer stated that he couldn't see the correct car even though my car was the only car that was around. So how does everybody like knowing that this could happen to you? I bet it would be very traumatizing experience for majority of you as it was for me. What happens if that same officer makes the same judgement call but it takes your loved ones life? I'm not saying all Peace officers are like this.

Almost every phone call or encounter I've had with the RPS has been up to standard. I used to work at a bar and had to call them frequently. I've also received warnings as opposed to tickets a couple of times, which was nice.I dont appreciate some members of the RPS, individually, and their attitudes, driving habits, etc. but I don't think the entire police service deserves to receive one star because of one experience or officer.

So appreciate for officers work quick and perfect, Finding my stolen phone for one hour ! Thank you guys for your job

Not help not support people, they support the thifer, the bad people, they don't do anything just give ticket for people that all what they know to do or drink coffee at timSeptembre 4 , go hire 2 police man from USA to catch these two killers what is the shame

So I didn’t want to put this out there because I’m embarrassed. But I called the police this past winter because the guy I lived with was drunk and hit me. I was sober. I called the Regina police thinking they would help me, maybe put him in the drunk tank or something. But instead I was kicked out in the cold in slippers because I happened to be outside when they arrived. (I was tying my German Shepard up like the dispatch had asked) the first officer asked me to get in his car and talk to him. I did. But started feeling scared back there so asked if I could get out he said yes and let me out. That’s when a second officer showed up and said I was not allowed to go back inside and to wait outside. I said no it’s cold I’m going back inside and this officer tried to grab my arm all while yelling at me to not resist. I was so scared I jumped away from him. Than the other cop said she’s sober and he stopped i put two and two together and said so if I was drunk you would of arrested me for trying to enter my house? So I started recording him. He glared at me shaking his head and made me leave the property before he left. I had to walk around the hood as I don’t have ANY family here and I told them that. I also told them he is from here and knows many ppl so he should be the one leaving.

Came here 15 minutes early for a criminal record check, there was zero signs on where the entrance is and there is construction blocking every road to get to the building and to the entrance for public. Had to walk back to my car and drive to the other side of the road which took 4 blocks to do because of the construction then got there and got told I can’t get in because I’m 10 minutes late like it’s my fault that there’s construction completely surrounding their building with zero signs for entree on the north side of the building. This place is very unorganized but they expect the public to be organized enough to know so it’s not their fault lol.

Incredible, 2 deer in our area just about hit one...headed onto Lewvan, tried to call in, but listened to some recorded voice repetitive rhetoric for over 15 minutes...finally gave up. Hope no one was Injured.....absolutely ridiculous.

Best police department in Canada! I had a very positive experience. The officer arresting me was an exemplary, very gentle man! The back of the car was extremely spacious. Will definitely be getting arrested by the RPS again. 10/10.

I'm only giving them one star cause I had to in order to write review. AWFUL AWFUL service st the Regina Police Dept. I grew up being taught to respect men/women that serve us. I now teach my children that. But my 4 yr old saw first hand how disrespectful an officer was to me (his mommy) this morning. I went to report fraud and it was a complete waste of my time. The cop didn't let me say 3 full words before interrupting me EVERY SINGLE TIME, he didn't even seem interested in what I was saying..... so I just left in tears. I still want to respect them but a part of me has lost complete respect for the Regina police dept after my experience & after reading these reviews. What a complete waste of my time. I don't know why I didn't just hire a lawyer instead. I'll be doing that now.
