Another great spot to drop in your canoe/kayak into the Grand River. Also a nice spot for a walk along the Grand River. Many different spots to drop in a line to fish has well.

I love this park to walk my dog. It is a urban forest so even when muddy you can get a few loops in. There is so much brush you think you are in the forest and then you hear the highway. But how can you not love how green Kitchener is?

Love taking my dogs here for a run! We went Canada Day Monday and only saw two other people on bikes come through. Was nice to have our dogs leashed but long lined so they could have some fun!

The trail is along the grand river. But I don't see so many birds.

Lovely place to see osprey. Neat little park with some well marked trails. The marked trail appears to be quite short. Walking off the main trail, there are many awesome side trails that parallel the river that are fringed by beautiful and diverse flora. Overall, pretty great place to spend a bit of time!

Short accessible loop walking trail on one side of the bridge. Path on other side connects to the Walter Bean Trail. Free parking. No playground equipment.

Hiking the Grand River trail from Schneider Park to the Woolner Boat Launch is a wonderful way to spend a few hours on a summer day. The trail is quite varied and includes everything from flower-laden meadows to scenic river views and wonderful forested paths. There are a few sections with oversized homes featuring 'no trespassing' signs, but it is easy to avoid stepping on their tiny lots.

It's a charming area, and the trails are a single-track style Trail, but then it runs out, and Fallen trees cross the pass, but other than that, it is fantastic. It would be great if this beautiful network of trails were updated slightly, but I still would go back.
