Children's flower garden, storytime figurine sculptures, lots of benches and sundials, so rare Analemmatic it uses human body to tell time. Magical.

Beautiful little place hidden away and has a great little trail in behind it that the kids love. We usually stop here for a little peaceful dinner at the picnic tables during the summer.

Cute little garden that appeals to all senses. It has different sections that are specific to each sense. The coolest part is that it is all run by volunteers.

I went because I’m a Montogomery fan. Cute little place to spend an evening. Covers a small area but if the Ecology centre is open then it’s worth driving to.

Lucy Maud Montgomery Garden
Lovely garden and wonderful place to spend some time, especially with younger kids.I found it interesting that there were signs encouraging people to touch some plants (I didn't due to the pandemic). There is a path leading to Willow Park as well which is a great diversion as well.Signs for this garden and parking are not very obvious, and the volunteer I saw there weeding today greeted me with coldness and low grade hostility (in contrast to the 2 volunteers in Willow Park who positively beamed) so you generally feel unwelcomed. What a shame that visitors are not encouraged more. It's a hidden gem for sure.

Would you like to follow in Montgomery's footsteps? The Ontario home where Anne of Green Gables author Lucy Montgomery moved with her husband MacDonald is located in NorvalThis garden was created to commemorate their achievements along the Credit River near the house where they lived. Montgomery fans and non-Montgomery fans alike should stop and take a leisurely walk through this place at least once. The garden is beautifully landscaped with many flowers in beautiful beds. The trails can be icy in the winter, so non-slip shoes are a must if you want to visit.

Pretty little place in the midst of the village of Norval. Really liked the sundials... there's even an analemmatic one! Worth a stop.
