This is the perfect venue for weddings, anniversaries or any big party. Beautiful facilities, with commercial kitchen, huge TV for video shows, dance floor, etc.. The place is well-kept. There is a great outside area for BBQ, with plenty of seating, electricity and covered. Compared to other venues it is very well priced. The parking lot is large and you can even stay overnight in a camper if you want. I highly recommend this place.

Today, my daughter have a field trip here. It's a great place for kids to be. Children can learn a lot about salmon. They understand what is the salmon life cycle. Here the children watch the birds with binoculars. They have the opportunity to learn about plants. All the staff here are very friendly to the children. They spent a happy day here.

The best archery facility in the Lower Mainland - and I have shot them all over the years. When I reached Advanced Maturity, the ups and downs of the various clubs became an ordeal and flat field" took on a whole new meaning. The Semiahmoo course is the only course where you can walk through a splendid stretch of forestry and shoot arrows at the same time.It would be a great pity if something was to happen to change this."

The most beautiful place to visit for a walk. The paths run along side a small stream (can't remember which) and there's photos from the late 1800's and early 1900's from the local area of early logging, schools and general stores etc. and informational posts about the local flora and fauna. I almost never see any other people there even when I'm there for a couple hours so it's a very nice quiet and interesting spot for a walk. I have seen deer, owls, cray fish and even a mink with a large snake it's it's mouth there. There's a medium sized pond with approximately 12 larger sized turtles in it that I see every time I go. The pond is also filled with lots of frogs and tadpoles. They do a salmon count there every year and if you go in the fall you can watch large salmon passing through the counting gates. A large part of the rest of the year you can also see many small fish in the stream. They have tanks for raising salmon for release. They aren't in use this year possibly due to covid but most years you can see them which is interesting. There's a big house on the property. It is not occupied and can be rented (I believe) for weddings etc. Be sure to check out the turtle pond next to it. The hatchery does not cover a large area but you can still manage to spend a couple hours walking there as there is so many interesting things to see. There's picnic benches as well although I was told due to covid they do not want any large gatherings there currently. You may want to contact the hatchery if you do want to have a family get together there etc. It is my most favorite place for a walk in the area. Truly a hidden gem.

Just came back from a lovely walk at this site. Improvements happening all the time e.g. new fences, new native plantings, path and step improvements and of course the lovely natural and peaceful surroundings, birds twittering, turtles and ducks sunning themselves,Hats off to all the wonderful volunteers who created and look after this wonderful spot. As a senior whose footing is not as firm these days I can see myself enjoying this haven 10 months of the year.

This is a hidden treasure of South Surrey. The salmon hatchery is just the starting point. Leading out from it is a nature walk following the Campbell River where you can see various birds, wildlife, and flora. Well worth a stop at any time of the year.

Great trails, a covered archery range, an outdoor semi covered gathering place and a hall. Downstairs of the hall is am indoor archery range, but beware if you have a recurve bow exceeding 70 inches as parts of the downstairs range has a low ceiling. I live practicing archery and competing at Semi fish and game.

I go here for target practice w/HGs and it's not too bad however it can get busy quick so get there early. Also, if you haven't been here before you only get three visits and then you have to join the club. $10/person Visitor and $5/person Member.
