Wentworth Lodge

This review comes over 4 years after my Mom passed in 2018. I have only good things to say about Wentworth Lodge.When it came time for me and my sister to make a list of LTC homes for her, Wentworth was our #1 choice, and we were tickled to get a spot. She was a resident for 3+ years. Clean, friendly; with well-manicured grounds; social, physical, spiritual activities; meals prepared to resident’s diets; available services too many to count. They always called with any concerns about meds, behaviour. We felt our Mom was tenderly cared for by staff when we were there with her, and when we were not.She received excellent palliative care during her last week, the staff keeping her medically and physically comfortable.They would even leave a tea/coffee/treat cart for us while we stayed with her.Thankfully, we never had to experience the pandemic with our Mom, but I can imagine an already-stretched staff was expected to perform miracles. Other, for-profit LTC homes, with fewer regulations in place, fared much worse than Wentworth & Macassa Lodges.From my experience, I would recommend Wentworth Lodge without hesitation.

Caring staff. Taking very good precautions against covid spread. Nothing but praise for the hard work and conditions they endure.

It's okay. Not sure if loved one is getting all the help she needs...ie meals etc.

Looks great well manicured lawns well decorated. If you are independent with close family.its ok. If you are needing nursing assistance find somewhere else. You can ring for help for 45 min.before someone might look in. Not all the appearance indicates. Dr.help hard to get..not a place to put a loved one.

They take excellent care of my mother in law.
