Should have stayed longer. So much to enjoy and investigate. Tons of trails for biking, walking and very friendly relaxed atmosphere. Things to do and see in the campsite too. Anne from BC

Spruce Woods Provincial Park
This park is awesome. There is so much to do here but bring your hiking shoes as there is alot of elevation changes in the trails. The park is very Clean and very spread out the sites are all a very good size. Highly recommend going to spuce sands and going to the devils punch bowl by the covered wagon what a trip and the guides do a great job teaching along the way. I think I found my new favourite park in Manitoba.

Just had a wonderful time at Spruce Woods Provincial Park. If you like to stargaze this is the place. On September 4, 2022, The Royal Canadian Astronomical Society has designated this park as an official dark spot for Manitoba. There is also an amazing hiking trail with an incredible view overlooking the Park. The park staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely keep returning to this park.

A serene oasis nestled amidst nature's beauty. The park offers breathtaking views, pristine trails making it a perfect escape for nature lovers. The Spirit Sand Trail takes you on a mesmerizing journey through these rolling formations, revealing the park's natural beauty. With well-maintained facilities and a peaceful atmosphere, Spruce Wood Provincial Park provides an unforgettable experience for those seeking tranquility in the heart of Manitoba.Make sure to carry a lot of water to stay hydrated as drinking water is not available on Spirit Sand Trail and only a few eating places near park.

This park is absolutely gorgeous. It gets hot so bring lots of water and make sure of you have pets to feel the sand and note that it can get hot for them too! It’s a lovely park with some awesome views. You can also camp close by and I certainly plan on checking that out in the future!

This parks a little far from the city but if you're in the west of Manitoba near Brandon this is a good stop. Could be considered the Vegas of Manitoba. Lots and lots of sand on the trails. These are longer trails so be ready to carry some water and snacks! Dog friendly. Camping sites nearby! Lots of beautiful scenery!

Such an amazing experience each and every time I go! This time my friends and I explored spirit sands and the devils punch bowl. Although we missed the fall Colors by a week or so, it was still beautiful! The 'stairs' in the sands havent been lifted recently and we tried to help out with doing that, succeeding only with the lower few.Lots of places to atop along the way for breaks for those who need, and also at least one bathroom along the way!

Manitoba's very own desert! This park is so much fun. Highly recommend the Spirit Sands and the Devil's Punch Bowl trails (accidentally did them both on a super hot day). Make sure that you bring water with you. Our dog had a blast and was a huge help pulling my tired body up the high dunes. The views are gorgeous and totally worth the trip.

Neat place to walk around. Spirit sands is something to behold. Hard to believe you're still in manitoba! Hiking during fall, with the leaves changing color only adds to the experience. It's like the horizon is on fire in spots. If you are able, do the hike to the punchbowl. Don't forget to take the stairs right into the bowl! What a view. I'll give spruce woods inn a thumbs up here while I'm at it!
