Excellent service! My ten tall pines are in great shape after the heavy pruning they needed. Thanks to Norm for a reasonable quote, sharing his knowledge and adding on work that my neighbors wanted. The aerial team, Dylan and Samuel, and Maxim and Cooper were so skilled that a neighbor pulled up a chair to watch from the road in front!

Arbutus are reliable and do an excellent job. They are pleasant, polite hard-working arborists who do the job you want and need done professionally and completely. If they start at 8am, they are done by noon. No supervision needed. They arrive, go over the work to be done with you and you are free to do as you please. They will ask you to look over the job done and amend anything missed. Highly recommended. Norm and his staff are the right men for the job! Thanks again, guys!

After a consultation, we booked an appointment to have our large tree trimmed to allow more light onto our deck. Our appointment was for noon so we rushed around in the morning to have all our errands finished well before then. Imagine our surprise when we returned home to find a voice mail saying that they decided not to comeL they had gone home early since they wanted to get a head start on the long weekend! I guess they enjoyed their weekend more than we did.I would have cancelled altogether but didn't want the hassle of finding another company. We have no misgivings about the work they did (when they finally came, 4 days later) but, do note, they are not reliable.

We have worked with Arbutus Tree Service for three different types of services. They are really straight forward and easy to deal with. They are super efficient and reasonably priced. I also appreciate that they are experts in their field. It is refreshing to work with a company that pride in their services and in their customer service.

Arbutus Tree Service did an excellent job in removing two large Cypress trees on our property. They were timely, efficient, and the clean up was well done. The employees of this company show no regard for public safety. They will not stop work to ensure members of the public can pass by safely. They also will behave in a hostile and rude manner towards you when you try to indicate that the road is a public space and they are required to work in a way that ensures everyones safety.

Norm from Arbutus tree is very professional and always respond promptly. The team who worked on the backyard was very efficient and professional as well. They confirmed about everything thoroughly before starting any work. They were very polite and did not bother us for anything, cleaned up everything before they left. They also left us a pile of firewood cut to the size that we asked for free of charge. The invoice was sent a day after the service with the correct amount. We were very satisfied with the works done by Arbutus Tree.

I do not recommend this company. I was told the work would take 2 hours. From the time their truck pulled up to the time their truck left was 40 minutes, maybe 45 minutes the most. When they left, the cleanup wasn’t completed and part of the tree wasn’t even pruned. This company does not care about their customers. The work they did for the big buck they charged you, it is not worth it.

Norm came within a few hours of my call for the estimate. Work was done quickly, carefully and clean the following day (we were lucky it was a small job I guess). James executed the work and was very personable and understanding of our concerns. Great service all around.
