Beautiful location and great prices. We ordered the Blackened fish tacos, Butifarra Royal and Yucas. The fish was very fresh and plentiful. The pork had a black peppered pungency that blocked most other flavors. I was hopeful to identify the chimichurri and aji Amarillo flavors but ended up with mayo on everything. The salsa criolla almost saved the fish tacos from more mayo. The Yucas were good but the same mayo sauce was served with it leaving a dry perfectly cooked side dish we were unwilling to dunk.

All of the food here is great! There are quite a few sandwich and side options, breakfast is served all day, and the prices are all reasonable.

Visited the establishment hoping they were going to have great food but the sandwich itself was mediocre. The menu says the sandwiches comes with shoestring potatoes but instead mine came with roasted potatoes. When I approach the situation to the attendant she said they were out but they were not specific at the moment of purchase.The attendants are loud as they talk about their personal lives instead of cleaning the tables: A table remained dirty for about 30 minutes after the customer left.Overall it was a bad experience. This establishment is promoting a latino style food and it is far from it. I DON’T RECOMMEND IT!!!

What a local gemEverything comes with a magical kick.So make sure you ask for sauce on the side if hot spicy is not your thing.Our sandwich and Peruvian dishes are tastier than the breakfast dishes#3 Sandwich is Rotisserie chicken with apple slaw—super yumAlso ordered Purple corn juice- just a tad sweet and refreshing

Went to Bellingham on a day trip from Vancouver. Ended up getting caught at the border for hours so we were starving by the time we got there. Came across this place on Google and seen a review saying best chicken sandwich ever". We were not disappointed. I got the chicken and it truly was the best chicken sandwich. So fresh and the flavours were amazing. Fresh crusty roll

Café Rumba is a great option when visiting Bellingham; I have been frequenting this establishment every time I head to Washington for the past ten or so years. Their food is always tasty, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.I ordered the number 7, which was plentiful and tasty for one person.

We stopped by here for lunch for our Bellingham day trip and it did not disappoint!The sandwiches were super juicy and flavourful, and messy. Be prepared to get your hands dirty. We expected ‘shoestring potatoes’ as in fries but got some boiled red potatoes with some dressing on top. The side salad was also alright. Not a big deal.We ordered the Pollo Tocino y Palta & the Choripollo sandwiches. The Pollo Tocino y Palta was our favorite!The Chicha Morada (purple corn juice) was lacking some sweetness so we added extra sweetener. It has a very strong clove flavour, if you’re into that!

Everything was delicious. We tried all the sauces and they were all unique. Sandwich was excellent, Id like to try them all! Soup was also excellent. Not too salty or too rich, just perfect.

The food and service at Cafe Rumba are always stellar! The food is unique, the portions are filling, and the price is pretty good.The food is super delicious, and it's fun to try new things on the menu, as it's all consistently good. I have yet to order anything and be disappointed. The desserts are also very good and unique to the resteraunt.There are all sorts of deals throughout the week and happy hour, so definitely visit and come back for the great deals and food.

I'm a little picky, but this place was amazing! The bread the sandwiches are made is crazy good. I'm gonna have to come back up when the bakery is open and buy some for home. Glad I tried it. I had the choripollo sandwich, no tomato, with some of the hot salsa on the side, and a Peruvian lager. Can't tell you how good it was!
