Doggy-Six

The team at Doggy-Six are great! They have a personal touch, I moved far away from Steveston yet I still make the trip to go back. They are accommodating, great with my 35lb Formosan. He’s an anxious and shy rescue always shaking when we walk through the doors and as I leave. They consistently tell me he’s really good when getting groomed, to my surprise! I am confident letting my hair down and relax when I drop him off with them.Every time I pick him up he’s always so excited and happy. Never without a big smile on his face! Highly recommended!

Sooo Disappointed in this business - Ever since last prev. owner ,Marlene left (who was great, liked what she did and cared)-It's now run completely different, with incapable staff , long wait times usually over a month, very chaotic, over priced and inconsistant.(While some smaller dogs may be treated well) - Good luck if you have a Large Dog" - such as my Male Retreiver - They literally try to talk you out of booking

Called to inquire about grooming and upon hearing that my dog is half Jindo, they were extremely reluctant to take her in. The person put us on hold a few times and came back with indecisive answers. However, in the end they said they would give it a try if we really wanted to but it would be 2 months away. We decided to think about it before committing. A few days later we called back and they flat out refused to groom our dog. We tried to tell them we had called previously and confirmed that we could give it a try. I understand that Jindos might be difficult to groom but our girl is very sweet and it is rude to flat out refuse without meeting her. We ended up going elsewhere and the groomer loved her!

We have been going to Doggy6 with our Havanese for about 4 years. They always do a great job and he loves it there. He starts pulling hard on his leash as soon as we get to the door.

Ever since they changed over from the original owner Marlene, to the now new group, it is very disappointing to walk in there. I have a yellow lab that weighs 74lbs and unfortunately he's a big guy. I went in there to get his nails trimmed and they told me nail trimming was $10. So, after they trimmed his nails they sent the Hispanic girl out to let me know that they needed two people to cut his nails, so it will be $21. I mean, I have never heard that before. He's naturally a big guy and you needing two employees to help is part of the job. Then to make me feel better" she says "oh

Doggy six is really great. The new management is super friendly they’re very helpful. I’ve been going to doggy six ever since I own dog so approximately 26 years, they treat my blind Chihuahua amazing and they treat my great Dane really really well and they both get their nails cut there. Their grooming is also really great. They take care of the dogs they take them out for a rest a bathroom break. And their prices are super reasonable.

Recommended to us by a long term customer who has been going to Doggy Six for many years. I think we were as nervous as our new rescue was for the initial visit, but were impressed with their professionalism and care. Our largish rescue is skittish and nervous, but they managed to bathe him and do his nails. A second visit has sealed the deal and we will definitely return. They were ever so patient with him and I was impressed that they asked to keep him for several hours so that they could take things slowly and let him have breaks. Received a full report at pick-up to let us know how it all went. Excellent service, excellent value, highly recommend.

Amazing service and such kind staff. This was my dogs first time at Doggy Six, and she came out with the cutest cut and a pretty pink bandana to top it off! Will definitely bring Luna back :)

These guys deserve a medal for dealing with challenging dogs! They're very patient, understanding, and loving to our dog despite him being naughty and quite challenging to deal with. We had tried bringing Teddy to other groomers and they were not willing to work with him, so they basically kicked him out and refused services. But staff at Doggy-Six finds a way to work around Teddy's behavior to make it work and we couldn't be any happier! We're grateful to all the staff here for being so kind. It's evident how much they love dogs and our Teddy definitely loves them too! He does not usually give hugs and kisses to other people, but he does it to the staff here before we leave. Thank you Doggy-Six for going above and beyond for our beloved babies! ❤
