The place is small and gets packed quite often but the food quality was very satisfying, in fact one of the best Katsu that I tasted in lower mainland. Meat was tender while fried batters were crispy. Cheese one was also very top quality. What is also the perk was unlimited cabbage salad. Waitress was attentive to fill our plate with fresh cabbage salad when we wanted more. Green tea also is served at free of cost, which adds to the experience. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with experience here at this restaurant.

Went there for Sunday lunch and we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. The place is smaller than expected and was super busy. Ordered the Tonkatsu Set and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I wasn’t aware that with every set there is unlimited rice, shredded cabbage and Miso soup which blew my mind. The pork loin was super soft and so flavourful on its own. They also served hot green tea which was also bottomless. The servers were also extremely nice and would come over to ask if we needed more refills. Overall, it was a delicious lunch and an amazing experience. Would definitely come back again!

Extremely noisy and small restaurant. Over rated deep fried pork chop with unlimited salty miso soup and half cooked rice. Price is cheap, but won't go back again.

Katsu San is my favourite katsu restaurant in Vancouver. The fried items are always fresh and crispy, without having the meat inside being dry.I highly recommend the assorted tonkatsu set for a first visit to try a bit of everything - which has pork or chicken katsu, a cheese pork katsu, and an ebi (shrimp) katsu. I prefer the pork and ebi katsu, but enjoy the set to also have a few slices of the cheese katsu which would be too rich for me as a regular order. The chicken katsu is also surprisingly juicy for a chicken breast, and I would recommend it for anyone wanting a lighter meat. The katsu sets also come with unlimited refills of rice, cabbage salad and miso soup. The soup and fresh cabbage is great for cutting the oiliness of the katsu. The service is great here as well, the servers are always attentive if you need any refills to your drink or the meal items.

Excellent customer service and an atmosphere that expresses the importance of quality. Got the the tonkatsu set. I was blown away by how tender, juicy and flavorful the pork was and how crispy, and fresh the breading ! Had no idea tonkatsu could taste that good. Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is super busy, but the food is quite tasty. We tried both chicken and pork combo, the spicy noodles, and the cold noodles. They are all great portions and delicious. If it's not for the crowd, I would literally come back all the time.

The service here is quick, the waiters are friendly and attentive. Food comes out pretty fast and is very fresh. The pork katsu was very nicely cooked, very tender and juicy! Nicely portioned, I felt very satisfied. There's also parking right behind the building.Only complaint would be that the space is quite small and the tables are very close to each other.

This place does not worth to go. We waited for 30 minutes. To be honest, they are not that busy but they are very slow. Anyways, the katsu are not good but the ramen was okay. The 2 star is for the ramen, if they do not have ramen, I would give 0 star for this restaurant.
