This doctor is detail oriented with high professional standards which come second to none!I take my little bird there when she needs her check up done, and I am comfortable and at ease with her professional advice and treatment plans.She isn't a judgemental doctor who is all about money, her ethics and true love for her patients is why I will always choose her for my bird care.Thank you Dr Cathy!You are truly a wonderful and caring doctor for the little patients who cant speak. For this fact, we should feel so privileged to be able to be part of your extended family practice.

I have previously used Ivy for wellness checks for my birds. Of course I find myself with a very egg bound African grey on a Sunday. After being unable to find an avian vet on a Sunday, I called first thing Monday morning! The AMAZING STAFF get us in first thing in the morning and save my girl, Star’s life! She spent the night in their care and sent photos and updates! Needless to say, their professionalism and compassion saved her life! I highly recommend this clinic and their staff! THANK-YOU!!!!!❤️

We have 2 British Shorthair kittens. We had our little boy Chipper neutered a couple of months ago and our little girl Buffy spayed today. Both our kittens were given expert medical attention and were given pain medication for next couple of days. Dr. Emms is wonderful and a very caring veterinarian. She always takes the time to write us a note on how our babies did throughout the surgery and treats them like her own. I am so grateful for this fantastic staff! I had an emergency with my sugar glider and my regular vet was on vacation but these amazing people saw my baby girl so quickly! They were so kind and accommodating to someone who isn't even one of their patient's. Would highly reccomend them to anyone!!

We've had our Netherland Dwarf rabbit for 7 years, and in that time he's had numerous vets. Cathy is the only vet we've ever found that actually has the required knowledge and experience necessary to provide professional care for small animals. She is clearly a top flight practitioner, and we're very glad to have found her clinic.

Dr. Emms is a very good diagnostician. She has been helpful, kind and available . She talked me through an acute emergency after- hours and saw my bird the next morning. I have had to euthanize 2 birds due to end of life cancer. She was empathetic and kind during these sad times. She is fair at pricing and understands if you have several birds and prices accordingly.

Ivy Vet was a lovely experience for me and my two birds. obviously with covid we don't get the full picture of being inside but your receptionist was lovely and staff were all positive and helpful. Ivy Vet is obviously very busy but i Know they are still providing top notch care for pets. I have a large eclectus parrot (Victra) and a small conure (Pax) and their nails/beak look so fantastic. I was not expecting for Dr.Cathy to leave notes about Pax/Victra but she did and it made me feel like I am on the right track with my darlings. They even provided some vitamin drops and treats that were reasonable in price and my babies love.. Thank you for the service today. We will be returning <3

Dr. Cathy is absolutely the best vet we have ever had! My husband and I have a 15 year old African Grey parrot and we are very particular about everything that has to do with him, he is like our child. We have been taking him to see Dr. Cathy since 2011. You can tell she loves animals, she treats them like people, she is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. If you have a pet, I highly recommend IVY Vet, Dr. Cathy Emms and her kind staff!
