Atlantic Sailing PEI

This is a smooth private sailing boat tour around the port of. North Rustico, PEI and got up close to the oyster farms.Michelle is an experienced captain and Emily our host guide was very knowledgeable about the local area and the Gulf of St. Lawrence.We are a family of four with a dog and fit comfortably at the bow of the sailboat. Boat is very clean and maintained.

Advertisements , includingsailboat sizenot anything qs advertised when we arrived. Boat very small and not clean. Paid $90 each. Only positive thing was seeing the beautiful sunset on the Atlantic Ocean.

Michelle is an excellent captain with 12 years of experience providing tours of the bay and ocean near North Rustico. We had a wonderful time learning all about the fishing and aquaculture, local culture and stories, environmental issues, and the wildlife in the surrounding area from both the captain and Marine, her assistant.We were the first tour of the season after conditions had drastically changed due to hurricane Fiona but Michelle easily adapted to the new harbor and oceanic conditions. My partner and I highly recommend this tour for people who want a real and down to earth experience from a local expert. If you are expecting a yacht and champagne you'll want to check out the more touristy options.

A very informative tour. We loved chatting with the captain and understanding the workings of the sail boat. They made sure that no questions went unanswered from curious kids and adults. Did the evening sunset tour, it was a gorgeous evening and the excellent boat ride made it totally worth it.

Overall the experience was nice. Captain Michelle is experienced and friendly. Her co-mate Maureen is also a wealth of knowledge. Our day was party cloudy and breezy, but not the right conditions to sale so we motored. The website notes quite eco electric drive, no noisy boat engine when sailing. Unfortunately we had the motor going the entire time and it appeared to be gas powered. Noisy. As we started our journey back, I asked if the sail would go up. Michelle noted not this time. I would have liked her to make that statement earlier to keep us informed and align expectations.

Monika and Michelle the captain are very nice person. Monica give use a very good information of the life in the bay of North Rustico. Michelle the captain make sure that we have a safety tripThe tours included a full explanation of the oysters productions and the marines life in the bay. Unfortunately the wind was to gusty in the ocean to open the sail so our tours was with motor with the beautiful view of the shore of the national park. The tours was a full 3 hrs of pleasure.

Absolutely amazing! The lady captain made the experience a memorable one for sure! They are the only dog friendly boat tour in the area. If your in the area I most definitely recommend adding this to your list of things to do.

Michelle and Maureen were awesome! We spent the afternoon touring the coast and learned a whole bunch! We got acquainted with the oyster, muscle and lobster industry as we toured a farm and learned about the history, current practices and international regulations we learned sailing fundamentals riding mid ship and bow, we learned so much more and can't thank these ladies enough for sharing their knowledge with us on a beautiful day at sea. Thanks a Bunch!

We had a fantastic time out on the water with Captains Michelle and Jessie. They were very knowledgeable about the local industries and shared so much information with us, as we headed out to the ocean. They even had my 8 yr old helping to put up the sail and then showed her how to steer. We all had a great trip and will book with them again, the next time we are out there.

Went on a group tour for whale watching. This included tour of local harbor, oyster and mussel farming operations, lobster fishing, and of course whale watching. We got to see some baby whales which was an amazing thing to see. Michelle and Maureen where THE BEST guides. Both are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the local waters, aquaculture operations, wildlife, and the effect climate change is having on PEI and marine life.
