Loretto Kennels

I purchased a dog from Morris a number of years ago. I was looking for an adult German Shepherd. Morris knew I had a small child and the dog he selected for us was wonderful with kids.We have also boarded our dog at his kennel and have always been impressed with how clean his kennels are and how much the dogs like him. He lets all the dogs loose for exercise and you can really see how much they all love him. This is true of his own dogs and also those boarding there. In fact, we continued to board with him even though we moved hours away. It was worth it to drive the extra hours to ensure our dogs were happy and well cared for in our absence. They were treated like members of the family, spending time in his house or playing outside with him. Plus, they always got groomed while there, so it was an extra bonus to pick up a clean, happy dog at the end of a vacation!

Our shepherd can be a bit unpredictable and requires a knowledgeable dog handler to keep him calm. He and Morris got on well from the get-go. I am not hesitating to leave my dog with Morris and have booked him for 2 more visits. I am happy and relaxed leaving him at Loretto Kennels.

This kennel is amazing. Morris is truely an amazing person and a very wise man. He knows alot about German Sheppard's and he is also a very friendly guy to deal with. If you are looking to get a German Sheppard. This is the place to get one.

Morris and I have co owned Liza for the last 6 years and I couldn't be happier with my dog or with my experiences with Morris. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of her when I go away and she is just as happy to stay with Morris as she is to come home with me. Morris' place is always spotless and the dogs kept in excellent condition. He takes great pride in the appearance and health of his animals and property. I would highly recommend Morris to anyone looking to buy a puppy, train a dog, grooming, or boarding.

I took my dog to Loretto Kennels this past week to have her groomed... I am beyond impressed with the entire experience! They were super nice and my dog looked amazing after! Ryan was the name of the guy who took care of us, and I will definitely be bringing my dog back to him!! Thank you again!

I have used Loretto Kennels with Morris Bartucci for about 10 years. I am an overly cautious owner who had to always remain at the groomers for every grooming, who didn't trust anyone with my dogs for boarding, then I found Morris. I trust my dogs 100%, the groomer, Ryan, mid 20's has been my groomer and he is kind and knowledgeable and my dogs have never looked better than when he does it.The Kennel is spotless, I have commented to everyone that I've never seen a cleaner better run place, I even let my husband who HATES smells come with me. I've attended fun events and found kids, puppies, dogs, old dogs and senior people all treated great.. The few puppies he has yearly have long waiting lists as a puppy from there is top quality in every aspect. Most importantly the dogs love it there, happily hopping out of the vehicle and running to greet Morris and any staff.

I have know Morris for over 30 years, he has boarded, showed and trained my dogs many times, he always goes the extra mile for the dogs and cares deeply for their welfare. I would highly recommend Loretto Kennels for boarding or training. He is also breeding German Shepherd puppies with great character and temperament that would be a pleasure for anyone to own.

Shocking Experience - We are new to the area and prefer to support local businesses. I called the kennel because they provided grooming. I spoke to the owner and described our dogs. We required grooming for our two miniature poodles. The owner claimed they groomed all dogs. My husband dropped of the dogs in the morning and was shocked when he picked up the dogs. Apparently the individual who was the groomer was a young boy possibly in his late teens that claimed he had never groomed poodles and had not felt comfortable having to groom our dogs, but had no choice. What my husband found was appallingly our poodles hair was jagged and uneven, it was obvious the grooming was done with an electric razor that was not appropriate for small dogs. The dogs coat was removed to the skin over there entire body. They had bloody cuts all over their body, the female had razor burns and cuts all across her underbelly. The male had a bloody 2 gouge of flesh cut from the fold of his back leg. I can't even imagine the fear and pain my dogs were experiencing. I was in tears when I saw them

I was working with Morris on my third gsd and first for my wife and girls. We needed to get the right dog as my girls were terrified of dogs. It's been two months now and I couldn't have gotten a better dog if I ordered it in a catalogue. Perfect temperament, smart, and the most beautiful pure black shepherd.Morris patiently worked with me for over 9 months, until I found the right dog. Salem is a 7 year old, and needed a loving home. It's the perfect match for our family. I started my search for a puppy, and fell for a senior dog instead. Always great puppies available through Morris, and will continue to go to Loretto Kennels again in future.Clean kennel, organised, and the dogs have lots of room and outdoors to enjoy their time there. 5 star kennel, and Morris has done an excellent job breeding a fine German Shepherd US/Can showline. Lots of champion dogs came out of Loretto Kennels.

Amazing breed. Amazing dogs. Great temperaments. Our boy will be 6 months in two days and already he has shown amazing intelligence and attitude. Morris did a great job producing such an awesome dog. I most definitely would recommend Loretto kennels to anyone looking for an amazing dog .
