We just used National Marbles for our kitchen counter tops, as they were highly recommended from a friend ours. I contacted them and within that same day, Eric came to measure our cabinets for granite. He was very knowledgeable about kitchens and he made suggestions and gave us several options. He invited us that evening to come to his shop. We hired his company the next day and within a week, his trades installed our counter tops. No waiting and no excuses like other trades. They also have their own shop and do kitchen cabinets as well. They are well established and knowledgeable and they did a fantastic job on our granite counters. I highly recommend them.

Our kitchen counters and two bathroom sinks were upgraded to granite by National Marbles and we were beyond impressed and satisfied with their services. Eric and his team of professionals worked hard to bring our dream kitchen to reality. From initial consultation with Ching (who was very informative, patient and a pleasure to communicate with) to day of install, the process was a smooth and easy one. It was a long process of selection, but the team was very patient and helpful in ensuring that we were fully satisfied with our choices before final commitment. On the day of install, they showed up on time and ready to work. They were very respectful of our home and got the job done in a timely manner as promised, all the while carrying smiles on their faces and engaging in friendly conversation with us. Their work is carried out with meticulous attention to detail, and they had no problem answering all our questions and talking us through the process. Would highly recommend their services!!

I had the worse experience with Eric from National Marble. To begin with, he never gave me a contract, and pressured me and rushed me all the time to close the deal with him. He is a good sales man.I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went with it. My mistake, lesson learned.When we agreed on the original price he promised me a specific sink. Later on, he said he was going to give me a different sink (different shape, half the price). He argued with me that he never promised me that sink and that the countertop was already cut. After a lot of back and forth, he changed his mind again and said he was going to give me the original sink (even though he had said the countertop was already cut for a different shaped sink – weird huh?).Another issue was the edge profile. He cut a different one than the one my husband and I had asked for. He said he cut a different style because it wouldn’t match our cabinetry. That’s fine…we let it go.He also he changed the price of 3 faucets we had ordered, on the day of the install.Before his guys got there, he said it would take an extra 2 hours for the pipes under the sink to be removed by his workers. When one of his guys got there, I asked and they said: “Oh this is so easy, we do it all the time”. 10 minutes later, it was done!Eric seemed to always make a huge deal of everything and tried to make everything into a problem. He also changed the price of several things over and over again. Little does he know I took notes every time we talked.Another issue arises at the end of the day….Eric forgot to measure one of our counters….that meant one of the counters was never cut and couldn’t be installed. I took the day off work just so they could install the countertops and finish it on that day as promised. That’s ok, mistakes happen.Originally we agreed on 50% deposit and 50% after everything was 100% finished. Eric then called and demanded I paid the remaining 50% even though his employees were not finished and one of the countertops were not done (in addition to the backsplash that had to be fixed). I told him that AS AGREED I would give him the remaining payment when EVERYTHING was completed. That how business works, but apparently he doesn’t know that. (By the way, throughout the day he called me about 20 times – I am not kidding – to ask me for payment for the work that wasn’t yet completed).My husband and I had to leave and couldn’t wait for them to finish, so we left the employees alone, trusting everything would be ok.Next thing I know, his employee is calling me to say Eric told them to remove the countertops. How can you trust someone like that? Anyways, I make an e-transfer to calm him down, so now they have up to 75% of the payment received, and the job is still not done!!!! I come home, they had taken the sink strainer with them, as well as the faucets (they knew my plumber was coming the next day), the backsplashes were not fixed and one of the counters was undone and they left all the sinks and old countertops there!!! (there were supposed to take that). Eric texted me to say he was going to come the next day when I wasn’t home. I said I wasn’t comfortable with that anymore and asked him to come at another time when I was home. He blocked me on the phone and I never heard from him since. Bottom line is that he sweet talked me all the way, forced us to pay the remaining balance even though it was not finished, and walked away without finishing the job. Now I have to hire another company to finish the left over counter top, buy sink strainers that came with the sink I purchased, pay someone to pick up the old counter tops and sink, and hire someone to fix the back splashes. DO NOT TRUST HIM. He walked away with my money and left the job unfinished just as I had predicted due to the way this was going.
