This past winter, during the big storm over Christmas the high winds destroyed my backyard fence. Initially everything happened quicky, filed the claim, took pictures, assessment was completed. Move ahead to early spring and Northbridge began to balk at the cost of the replacement, said they would only repair portions despite proof of damage to sections that I tied up with ropes. After yet another assessment a small increase was granted. Realizing I was fighting a losing battle, I accepted I was going to pay a good chunk out of pocket.The contractor came out and installed the new fence, they did a fantastic job and were the only positive out of the whole experience. Once time came for payment, Northbridge paid out a much smaller amount than was agreed to the property restoration company who in turn paid less than the agreed amount to the contractor. I paid the difference out of pocket to the contractor, while attempting to reach the adjustor. It has now been several emails, phone calls with no response since early April. I have yet to sign anything to finalize the claim and all my questions about where the missing money is are not being answered.I've already contacted my broker and asked them to switch me to a new insurance company when my renewal is due. I'll happily pay a little more than have this unresponsive, irresponsible sham of an insurance company any longer. I just want to know where the $1300 went.Update: sent information to email included in canned response below. No response back from that.Found email for property claims manager. After a curt discussion I received a very abrupt email stating I don't owe any more money with no explanation as to who screwed up given. Still missing $300...

Terrible experience. Slow, indecisive. After waiting a month for a response ( I had parts pricing and a certified repair facility lined up within 24 hours of the claim) muddy explanation of repair numbers and decision and wrote off a totally repairable vehicle that could have been fixed in (2) weeks. Almost (2) months to settle, just terrible. as a 48 year client, can't believe how little my interests were heard or considered. The worst.

The worst. The worst customer service and the most rude people you will ever deal with.The changed my adjuster and assigned a new one and then blame it on me for the delays. The are so slow in getting back to you! You ask for a manager but dont get one and you’re stuck with a rude irresponsible employee. THE WORST! 0/10 ZeroI advice everyone to stay awayyyyy!!!!!!! I already adviced my family and colleges to stay away. Someone should go publicly and expose how unprofessional this company is.

I will be asking my broker to move all my policies to another underwriter when they come up for renewal. They quoted me for a motorcycle, it was a fair quote, not great but close enough that it was worth simplifying my life to wOne carrier. Well they just sent me a registered telling me my coverage ends in two weeks. Quoted some internal guidelines I can't find online. What would have happened if I was on a three week ride?Thank you for restoring my desistrust in our wonderful insurance Companies in our already ridiculous province

I was left on hold for 15 minutes, then asked to call back.I’m a very busy with my own business & don’t have time totolerate this nonsense!I definitely wouldn’t recommend either of these companies. They’re quick to withdraw your Money every month.Terrible company. I’m insured with“Pets Plus Us. “ Northbridge under writestheir policies. I’ve been waiting for months & still no bank deposit. They’re quick to withdraw my monthly payment.Exceedingly slow to pay out.It’s disgusting how these 2 companies treat their clients.They’re big on passing the buck, to deferreimbursing their clients.Dissatisfied dog owner!

Ridiculous deductible for water damage. Their representative came and did a bit of interview. Never heard from her after (except one call after a few weeks to say hi) except that one email saying she is closing the claim. Despite saying she will email some paperworks from the day we told them about the flooding, we did not get a single email, until the one informing us about the closing of our claim

Beware!!! Attention!!!Neither this insurance company is reliable nor its employee.My car's windshield glass was cracked due to faulty car wash system at one of the Petro Canada service location in Mississauga.The claim was immorally handled by the Samantha Martinez, who just unseeingly sidelined all the proofs given & declined the claim. She is biased, nastiest & misuses her power by giving flawed decisions.Don’t expect justice from this insurance company for your claim.I suggest to stay away!!!

Although I am not fond of writing reviews, I feel compelled to share my experience with this insurance company. In my opinion, they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I use them for my business, and they are extremely slow at responding and providing me with updated quotes. It sometimes takes over three months for them to get back to me. When we requested to remove a driver, they overcharged us for an additional month. Even though I had asked them to take the driver off, it took them a month to process the request, and they charged me an extra $700++ for that month. Moreover, their rates constantly increase without any logical explanation. This company deserves a complete fail rating, and I will be lodging a complaint with the regulatory authority. It seems like they are constantly finding ways to overcharge me and increase rates without any reasonable basis.update: I was requested to send an email to them, but it has been more than nine days, and I haven't received any response yet. I doubt if this company is supportive of your needs because they haven't even bothered to reply to my email.
